Its design is not rugged in the sense of reinforced edges, but it can withstand being submerged up to a depth of 2 meters. With a total volume of 260.91 cm³, the device does not support folding functionality.

The Ulefone Armor X16 features a 5.56″ LCD, IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1612 px, delivering a pixel density of 318 ppi. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5, offering durability against scratches and drops. With a 120Hz refresh rate, it ensures smooth touch interactions, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or an Always-On display.

The Ulefone Armor X16 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device supports 64-bit processing and runs on DirectX 12, with integrated graphics through the Mali G52 MC2 GPU. With a CPU clock speed of 2 x 2 GHz and 6 x 1.8 GHz, it offers an efficient multi-core performance. The system also features a memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s and supports GPU Turbo for improved graphical performance.

The Ulefone Armor X16 features a versatile triple-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a 20MP secondary camera, and a 2MP additional lens, all equipped with wide apertures of 1.8f for the first two and 2.2f for the third. It supports phase-detection autofocus for clear photo capture and offers various creative modes, including manual exposure, ISO, and focus adjustments. For video, it records at 1080p 30fps and supports slow-motion capture. The front camera provides 16MP quality with a wide 2.3f aperture, but lacks a flash or dual-lens setup.

The Ulefone Armor X16 runs on Android 15 and offers several privacy and customization features. It includes options like location privacy, camera/microphone access controls, and clipboard warnings for added security. The device supports features such as theme customization, dark mode, and multi-user systems. Additionally, users can benefit from advanced capabilities like split-screen multitasking, PiP (Picture-in-Picture), and offline voice recognition. However, it does not support Mail Privacy Protection or Wi-Fi password sharing.

The Ulefone Armor X16 is equipped with a large 10360 mAh battery, providing extended usage. It supports fast charging at 33W, although it lacks wireless charging and reverse wireless charging capabilities. The device comes with a charger, features a battery level indicator, and has a rechargeable battery. However, the battery is not removable.

The Ulefone Armor X16 offers a 3.5 mm audio jack for traditional wired audio connections and includes a built-in radio. However, it does not feature stereo speakers or support advanced Bluetooth audio technologies like aptX, LDAC, or aptX HD.

The device supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and features Bluetooth 5 for reliable wireless connectivity.
