The RugKing is powered by the Unisoc T7255 chipset, fabricated on a 12 nm process and configured with eight threads using big.LITTLE technology — two cores running at 2 GHz and six at 1.8 GHz. It is paired with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 1866 MHz, supports up to 14GB of maximum memory, and offers 256GB of internal storage via eMMC 5.1. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G57 MP1 GPU with a turbo frequency of 750 MHz, supporting OpenGL ES 3.2 and OpenCL 2.0. The SoC also integrates LTE, features ARM TrustZone security, and delivers a maximum memory bandwidth of 14.928 GB/s, with a 1 MB L3 cache rounding out the internal architecture. Geekbench 5 scores come in at 380 for single-core and 1391 for multi-core workloads.

The RugKing features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary lens, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. The main camera supports video recording at 1080p and 30 fps along with slow-motion capture, but does not offer optical zoom, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, or RAW output. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode and in-camera panorama are also available. A single LED flash is fitted at the rear — not dual-tone or RGB — and there is no front-facing flash. The 8 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2 and is a single-lens unit positioned conventionally, not under the display.

Privacy controls are fairly comprehensive, covering clipboard warnings, location access management, and camera and microphone permissions, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. Customisation options include dark mode, dynamic theming, and theme customisation, while notification controls and sharing intents allow further personalisation of the experience. The OS supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device tracking, and users can take full-page scrolling screenshots and use a media picker for selective file sharing. A child lock, battery health check, extra dim mode, and the ability to play games while they download add to everyday usability. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and desktop PC mode are not available, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.
