The Redmi 13x uses a 6.79″ IPS touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 px resolution and a pixel density of 388 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image across its large panel. The display runs at a 90 Hz refresh rate backed by a 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 450 nits. It is covered by Gorilla Glass 3 for basic scratch resistance, though it does not carry HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision certification, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen.

The Redmi 13x is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra, a 12 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configured as 2 cores at 2 GHz and 6 cores at 1.8 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE and HMP technologies for workload distribution across 8 threads. It is paired with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 1800 MHz across 2 memory channels, delivering a maximum memory bandwidth of 13.41 GB/s, and 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G52 MC2 GPU, which runs at 850 MHz with a turbo ceiling of 1000 MHz, and supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The chipset includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, with a rated TDP of 5W. In benchmarks, the device scores 269,266 on AnTuTu, 341 single-core and 1,274 multi-core on Geekbench 6, and 8,316 on PCMark Work 3.0, with the battery portion of that test recording a runtime of 514 minutes.

The Redmi 13x has a dual rear camera system built around a 108 MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. Autofocus is handled via phase detection and touch AF, with continuous autofocus active during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. The main camera records video at up to 1080p at 30 fps and supports slow-motion recording, but does not offer HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, nor any optical zoom or optical image stabilization. The flash setup consists of four LEDs in a dual-tone arrangement, while manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance — though manual shutter speed is not available, and RAW capture is not supported. The Redmi 13x ships with Android 14 and includes a solid set of privacy controls, among them clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while multitasking is covered through split-screen support and Picture-in-Picture. Useful everyday features include full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, a child lock, multi-user support, battery health check, an extra dim display mode, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Voice interaction is available both online and offline, and the device supports phone tracking. However, the OS does not offer focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, app offloading, Quick Start, or direct OS updates from the vendor, and it cannot be used as a PC.

The Redmi 13x houses a 5030 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low. It supports 33W wired fast charging, and a compatible charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available.

The Redmi 13x includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired listening and a built-in radio, though it is limited to a single speaker with no stereo output. For wireless audio, it supports aptX over Bluetooth, but does not extend to aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Redmi 13x supports dual SIM cards and connects wirelessly via Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), with cellular download speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s, though 5G is not supported. Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC are both present, and the device charges and transfers data through a USB Type-C port. An external memory slot allows for storage expansion. For positioning, it includes GPS with Galileo support alongside a compass, gyroscope, accelerometer, and infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+, motion tracking, and optical tracking are absent. The Redmi 13x includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
