The ASRock H810M-X uses the LGA 1851 socket and adopts a Micro-ATX form factor, measuring 220 mm wide by 193 mm tall, making it suited for compact or mid-range builds. It features a single CPU socket and does not include an integrated CPU or integrated graphics, so a discrete processor and GPU are required. The board lacks Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RGB lighting, and dual BIOS functionality, and it does not offer easy BIOS reset or one-click overclocking support. On the display side, it provides an HDMI 2.1 output, and the board is backed by a three-year warranty.
The H810M-X supports DDR5 memory across two slots, operating in a dual-channel configuration for improved bandwidth. It can accommodate up to 128GB of RAM in total, with a maximum supported speed of 6400 MHz. ECC memory is not supported on this board.
The rear I/O of the H810M-X provides a modest but practical selection of ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and four USB 2.0 ports for peripheral connectivity, along with one USB Type-C port. There are no USB 3.2 Gen 2, USB 4, Thunderbolt, or eSATA ports present. Display output is handled through an HDMI port, one DisplayPort output, and a VGA connector, while DVI is absent. Network connectivity is served by a single RJ45 Ethernet port, and the board also retains one PS/2 port for legacy input devices.
For internal connectivity, the H810M-X offers four SATA 3 connectors for storage devices and one M.2 socket for faster solid-state drives, while mSATA and U.2 sockets are not available. Expansion USB connectivity is provided through two USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers and two additional USB 2.0 headers, as well as two USB 3.0 expansion ports. The board includes two fan headers for cooling management and a TPM connector for hardware-based security functionality. No SATA 2 connectors are present.
The H810M-X provides a compact expansion slot layout suited to its Micro-ATX design, featuring one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot as the primary option for a dedicated graphics card or other full-length expansion card, alongside one PCIe x1 slot for smaller add-in cards. There are no PCIe 5.0, PCIe 3.0, PCIe 2.0, PCIe x4, or PCIe x8 slots, and legacy PCI slots are also absent, keeping the overall slot configuration straightforward and minimal.
The H810M-X includes an onboard audio solution supporting 7.1-channel audio output, with three analog audio connectors available on the rear I/O for connecting speakers, headphones, and microphones. There is no S/PDIF output port on this board.
