The Cleer Audio Arc 3 Gaming use an open-ear fit and come with wingtips to help keep them in place during use. They are true wireless earbuds with no cables or neckband, and they carry an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning they are fully protected against water. Stereo speakers are built in, and a UV light feature is also present. There is no RGB lighting and no display on the earbuds themselves.
The Arc 3 Gaming uses a 16.2 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 50 Hz to 40,000 Hz. It supports Dolby Atmos for compatible content, but does not include active noise cancellation, passive noise reduction, spatial audio, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet.
The Arc 3 Gaming offers 10 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case adding a further 40 hours of total playback. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds support wireless charging alongside a rechargeable battery. A battery level indicator is included, while there is no solar power option.
The Arc 3 Gaming connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m and an audio latency of 30 ms. Supported codecs include LDAC, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and AAC, while LDHC, aptX, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, and aptX Voice are not supported. USB Type-C is available for wired charging, but the earbuds do not support fast pairing, NFC pairing, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The Arc 3 Gaming supports multipoint connection for up to two devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset, with a mute function and voice prompts also on board. Fast charging is supported, and a find device feature is included for locating misplaced earbuds. Controls are handled via a control panel placed on the device itself, with no in-line control panel available. A travel bag is included in the box, while ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, notification reading, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are all absent.
The Arc 3 Gaming is equipped with four microphones, and noise-canceling capability is built into the microphone setup to help reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice communication.
