Honor X7d 5G

It holds an IP65 rating, confirming solid protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it water resistant in everyday conditions. The phone features a standard fixed-body design — it is neither foldable nor built to rugged specifications.

The Honor X7d 5G features a 6.77-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1610 px and a pixel density of 261 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass and does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen present.

The Honor X7d 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.3 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz, with a turbo clock of 2.3 GHz and a TDP of 4W. It comes with 6GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz — expandable up to 8GB — alongside 128GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, a maximum memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s, and two memory channels. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 619 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while the SoC also includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone, NX bit protection, and operates using big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). The platform supports 64-bit processing and 128-bit NEON execution, though simultaneous multithreading is not present.

The Honor X7d 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor, with video recording capped at 1080p at 30 fps and a single LED flash — no dual-tone, RGB, or BSI sensor is present. Privacy tools include location controls, camera and microphone access management, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. On the usability side, the OS offers dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, widgets, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, app offloading, an extra dim mode, battery health check, sharing intents, child lock, and the ability to play games while they download. Focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and OS updates do not come directly from the vendor.

The Honor X7d 5G is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 35W fast charging, and includes a battery level indicator for convenient monitoring. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available on this device.

The Honor X7d 5G includes stereo speakers and supports aptX HD for higher-quality Bluetooth audio, while standard aptX, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are not available. The device does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and lacks a built-in radio.

The Honor X7d 5G supports 5G connectivity with download speeds up to 2500 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 1500 Mbits/s, and accommodates two SIM cards. Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC, while wired connectivity is handled by a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 — HDMI output is not available. For positioning, the device includes GPS with Galileo support and a compass, while the accelerometer is present but a gyroscope, barometer, and motion or optical tracking are absent.
