It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers solid protection against dust and water splashes, though it is not built to a rugged standard and does not feature a folding form factor.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 px and a pixel density of 393 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion, and the panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 to guard against everyday scratches and impacts. An Always-On Display mode is available, keeping essential information visible without fully waking the screen. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a 4 nm chipset housing 6,200 million transistors and an octa-core CPU split across four cores at 2.5 GHz and four at 2 GHz, with 8 threads in total and support for big.LITTLE and HMP technologies for efficient load distribution. It comes with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 16 GB — alongside 256 GB of internal storage. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz, which supports DirectX 12 and drives a single display. The chipset is 64-bit capable and includes integrated LTE. In benchmarks, the device scores 675,134 on AnTuTu, 2,932 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 1,026 on Geekbench 6 single-core.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system headlined by a 64 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP secondary lens, backed by a CMOS sensor and a dual-tone LED flash with two LEDs. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera supports 4K video recording at 30 fps along with slow-motion capture, HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, and a range of manual controls covering exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance — however, manual shutter speed, RAW output, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not available, nor is optical zoom or optical image stabilization. On the front, a 13 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies; it does not have its own flash and is positioned as a conventional notch or punch-hole unit rather than an under-display placement.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G runs Android 15 and comes with a solid set of privacy controls, including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The OS also includes on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, device tracking, a child lock, multi-user support, and a battery health check tool. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and Quick Start is absent.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode are both on hand to help manage usage when needed. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G includes stereo speakers for audio output, but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack, so wired headphones would require an adapter. There is no built-in radio, and none of the high-quality Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

For sensors and navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and an infrared sensor, though it lacks a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner; 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not available. ANT+, DLNA certification, satellite SOS, crash detection, and a built-in projector are all absent, and no stylus is included.

The Infinix Note 50s 5G features a curved display and includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The screen uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
