The Maxsun eSport B860M Sniper WiFi uses the LGA 1851 socket paired with the B860 chipset and comes in a Micro-ATX form factor, measuring 245 mm wide by 225 mm tall. It supports Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) along with Bluetooth 5.2, though aptX audio is not included. The board features a single CPU socket, no integrated CPU or integrated graphics, and carries an HDMI 2.0 output. Overclocking is supported, and the board includes both dual BIOS and an easy CMOS reset function for added firmware flexibility. RGB lighting is present, and the unit is backed by a three-year warranty.
This board supports DDR5 memory across two slots in a dual-channel configuration, with a maximum capacity of 96 GB. Standard RAM speeds top out at 6400 MHz, while overclocking can push that figure up to 8600 MHz. ECC memory is not supported.
The rear I/O includes one USB 4 40Gbps port and one Thunderbolt 4 port, both of which are USB Type-C, alongside four USB 2.0 ports. There are no USB 3.2 Gen 1, Gen 2, or Gen 2x2 USB-C ports, no Thunderbolt 3, and no eSATA or PS/2 connectors. Display outputs consist of one HDMI and one DisplayPort, while DVI and VGA are absent. Storage connectivity is provided through two M.2 sockets and three SATA 3 connectors, with no SATA 2, U.2, or mSATA options present. Three fan headers are available for cooling management. The board does not include a TPM connector.
The board offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot as the primary expansion slot for a discrete graphics card, complemented by one PCIe x4 slot and one PCIe x1 slot for additional cards. There are no PCIe 2.0, 3.0, or 4.0 x16 slots, no PCIe x8 slots, and no legacy PCI slots.
The board provides no dedicated audio connectors and does not include an S/PDIF output port.
The board does not support RAID 0+1 configurations.
