The Nubia LiveFlip adopts an open-ear fit, keeping the ear canal unobstructed during use, and comes with wingtips included to help secure the earbuds in place. The design is fully true wireless, with no cables or neckband involved, and stereo speakers are present for left-right audio separation. For moisture protection, the earbuds carry an IPX4 rating, making them sweat resistant — suitable for light activity. RGB lighting, a UV light, and a display are not part of the design.
The Nubia LiveFlip uses a 15 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Active noise cancellation and passive noise reduction are both absent, which is consistent with the open-ear design. The earbuds do not support spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, or Dirac Virtuo, and no neodymium magnet is listed as part of the driver configuration.
The Nubia LiveFlip offers 10 hours of battery life per charge, with the charging case adding a further 30 hours for a combined total of 40 hours. The rechargeable battery reaches a full charge in 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is present to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar charging are not supported.
The Nubia LiveFlip connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and the charging case uses USB Type-C for wired charging. None of the advanced audio codecs are supported, including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, aptX and its variants (aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice), as well as Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast. Fast pairing and NFC-based pairing are also absent from the feature set.
The Nubia LiveFlip supports fast charging and can be used as a headset, making it suitable for calls alongside music listening. Controls are handled through an on-device panel, and voice prompts are present to assist with navigation and status updates. A mute function is also included, and the package comes with a travel bag. Ambient sound mode, notification reading, in-line controls, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter function are all absent.
The Nubia LiveFlip is equipped with a four-microphone array that includes noise-canceling microphone functionality, helping to reduce unwanted background sound during calls.
