It carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, though it does not feature a rugged build designed for harsher physical conditions.

The Oppo A5 4G uses a 6.67-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The panel is covered by Gorilla Glass 7i for added scratch and impact resistance, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display mode, and there is no secondary screen.

The Oppo A5 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a 4nm octa-core chipset with four cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and four at 1.8 GHz, supporting 64-bit processing, big.LITTLE architecture, and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing for efficient workload distribution.
