Oppo Find X9

The Oppo Find X9 has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 157 mm tall, 73.9 mm wide, and just 8 mm thick, with a total volume of 92.8184 cm³ and a weight of 203 g. It carries an IP69 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof with a rated depth tolerance of 1.5 m.

The Oppo Find X9 features a 6.59″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 px and a pixel density of 460 ppi, backed by a 120Hz refresh rate and a typical brightness of 800 nits. The display supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and includes an Always-On Display mode along with branded damage-resistant glass. There is no secondary screen, but the panel offers a well-rounded set of viewing capabilities for its size.

The Oppo Find X9 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a 3 nm chipset with an 8-thread CPU running at 1 x 4.21, 3 x 3.5, and 4 x 2.7 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, achieving Geekbench 6 scores of 3781 single-core and 12189 multi-core. Graphics are handled by the Mali G1 Ultra MP12 GPU clocked at 1750 MHz with 128 shading units and OpenCL 3 support, while integrated LTE is built directly into the SoC. The device comes with 1024 GB of internal storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM running at 5333 MHz, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB, a maximum memory bandwidth of 85.3 GB/s, and a 16 MB L3 cache, with full 64-bit and multithreading support throughout.

The Oppo Find X9 features a triple rear camera system with three 50 MP sensors, apertures of f/1.6, f/2.6, and f/2.0, a focal range spanning 15 mm to 73 mm, 3x optical zoom, and optical image stabilization, while video recording reaches up to 2160p at 60 fps with HDR10 recording support, though Dolby Vision recording is not available. The main cameras use a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination, and autofocus options include phase-detection, laser, touch, and continuous autofocus during video. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, shutter speed, and white balance, and additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, timelapse, slow-motion, HDR, and RAW capture, though 360-degree panorama and 3D recording are not supported. A single LED flash is present — not dual-tone or RGB — and there is no front-facing flash. The 32 MP front camera has an aperture of f/2.4, is a single-lens setup, and is not positioned under the display.

The Oppo Find X9 runs Android 16 as a free and open-source multi-user operating system, supporting on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Privacy controls include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Customization options cover theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. On the productivity side, the OS supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, app offloading, a child lock, and the ability to play games while they download; direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Oppo Find X9 houses a non-removable rechargeable 7025 mAh battery with a battery level indicator. It supports fast wired charging at 80W, wireless charging at 50W, and reverse wireless charging at 10W, covering a broad range of charging scenarios in a single device.

The Oppo Find X9 includes stereo speakers and supports aptX for Bluetooth audio, but does not offer LDAC, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, or aptX Lossless. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Oppo Find X9 supports 5G cellular connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with wireless networking covering Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, and 7 and a download speed of up to 10700 MBits/s. Bluetooth 6 and NFC are included, while USB Type-C handles wired connectivity; there is no HDMI output, no external memory slot, and no DLNA certification. Sensors on board include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, an infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, though a barometer, heart rate monitor, iris scanner, and 3D facial recognition are all absent. The device does not support ANT+, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion or optical tracking, and neither a stylus nor a built-in projector is included.

The Oppo Find X9 includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, but does not feature a sapphire glass display, a curved display, or an e-paper display.
