Realme P3x 5G

The Realme P3x 5G has a standard candy-bar form factor — it does not fold and lacks a rugged build. It measures 165.7 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, and just 7.9 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 99.75 cm³ and a weight of 197 g. One of its more notable design attributes is its IP68 rating, which certifies the device as waterproof and provides a solid level of protection against dust and water ingress.

The Realme P3x 5G features a 6.72″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a 1080 x 2400 px resolution and a pixel density of 396 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp image across its large panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps produce smoother motion during scrolling and general use. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. The panel also lacks branded damage-resistant glass.

The Realme P3x 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.5 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE technology alongside multithreading support. It comes with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM operating at 2133 MHz and 128 GB of internal storage, while the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocks at 950 MHz, supports DirectX 12, and drives a single display. The SoC integrates both LTE and graphics, achieves a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s, and is fully 64-bit compatible, with the whole platform scoring 450,300 on the AnTuTu benchmark.

The Realme P3x 5G sports a dual-lens rear camera system pairing a 50 MP main sensor (f/1.8) with a 2 MP secondary lens (f/2.4), both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus is handled via phase detection and touch AF, with continuous autofocus available during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera records video at up to 1080p at 60 fps and supports slow-motion capture, while optical zoom is not available and there is no optical image stabilization. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not supported. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse, and a standard flash is present — though it is neither dual-tone nor RGB. The front camera offers 8 MP in a single-lens setup with no flash, and neither HDR10 nor Dolby Vision recording is supported on either camera.

The Realme P3x 5G runs on Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, voice commands with offline voice recognition, on-device machine learning, and device tracking. Privacy controls are well represented, covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking protection and Mail Privacy Protection are absent. On the customization side, the OS includes dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, app offloading, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. A child lock, battery health check, and extra dim mode round out the feature set, though Quick Start and the option to use the device as a PC are not supported, and OS updates do not come directly from the OS vendor.

The Realme P3x 5G is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing it to replenish power at a fairly brisk rate. Wireless charging is not available, but a battery level indicator is present to keep the user informed of remaining charge.

The Realme P3x 5G has a notably limited audio feature set — it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a built-in radio. High-quality wireless audio codecs are also absent, with neither LDAC nor aptX Lossless supported.

The Realme P3x 5G covers the core connectivity bases with 5G cellular support, dual SIM capability, Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speeds. Download speeds reach up to 3300 MBits/s, and storage can be expanded via an external memory slot. For navigation and sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, though a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are all absent. Security is handled through a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present. There is no HDMI output, no built-in projector, no stylus, and the device does not support DLNA, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, or any form of motion or optical tracking.

The Realme P3x 5G includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate scenes during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
