The Soundpeats Clip 1 adopts an open-ear fit and operates as a fully true wireless pair, meaning there are no cables or neckband involved. Each earbud is lightweight at just 10 grams and delivers audio through stereo speakers. The design carries an IPX5 water resistance rating, making it capable of handling sweat and splashes in everyday use. Wingtips are not included, and the earbuds feature no RGB lighting, UV light, or display of any kind.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 uses a 12mm driver unit and covers a frequency range starting at 20 Hz on the low end, with the specified upper limit reaching 4 Hz. The earbuds do not include active noise cancellation or passive noise isolation, so ambient sound passes through freely, which aligns with the open-ear design. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, and Dirac Virtuo are not supported, and the drivers do not use a neodymium magnet.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 offers 8 hours of battery life per charge, and the included charging case extends the total available playback to 32 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and the earbuds feature a rechargeable battery along with a battery level indicator so users can monitor remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and supports both LDAC and AAC audio codecs for flexible playback quality depending on the source device. Charging is handled through USB-C, while NFC pairing and fast pairing are not available. On the codec side, aptX in all its variants — including aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — is not supported, nor are LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 includes a practical set of everyday features, starting with multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and in/on-ear detection that automatically pauses playback when the earbuds are removed. Fast charging is supported, and controls are handled through a panel placed directly on the device, though there is no in-line control panel. The earbuds function as a headset for calls and include a mute function, voice prompts, and a travel bag in the box. Ambient sound mode, a find-device feature, notification reading, a built-in translator, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are not available.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce unwanted background sound during calls and voice interactions.
The Soundpeats Clip 1 supports Dolby Audio, adding a certified audio processing layer to its playback experience.
