Vivo Y19e

The Vivo Y19e has a standard candybar form factor — it does not fold and carries no rugged certification. It measures 167.3 mm tall, 76.9 mm wide, and 8.2 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 105.5 cm³ and a weight of 199 g. On the protection front, the device holds an IP64 rating, meaning it is rated to resist dust ingress and can handle water splashes from any direction, giving it a practical level of everyday resilience without qualifying as a fully waterproofed handset.

The Vivo Y19e features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi. It supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother scrolling during everyday use. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Vivo Y19e is driven by the Unisoc T7225 chipset, built on a 12 nm process and featuring an 8-thread CPU configured as 2 cores at 1.8 GHz alongside 6 cores at 1.8 GHz using big.LITTLE technology. The SoC integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, and includes ARM TrustZone for hardware-level security. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 MP1 GPU, which features 2 execution units, 32 shading units, a turbo frequency of 614.4 MHz, and supports DirectX 11 and OpenCL 2. The device ships with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM running at 1866 MHz and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with the platform supporting up to 8 GB of RAM in total. Cache is distributed across 128 KB of L1, 2 MB of L2, and 1 MB of L3, while maximum memory bandwidth reaches 12.8 GB/s.

The Vivo Y19e carries a dual-lens rear camera system led by a 13 MP main sensor paired with a 0.08 MP secondary lens, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The rear camera supports HDR mode, manual exposure, manual ISO, manual focus, manual white balance, burst mode, slow-motion video recording, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, while optical zoom, RAW capture, manual shutter speed, 360-degree panorama, HDR10 recording, and Dolby Vision recording are not available. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. On the front, a 5 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies; it has no dedicated flash and is not positioned under the display. Neither side offers 3D photo or video capture capabilities.

The Vivo Y19e ships with Android 14 and brings a solid set of privacy and usability features. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included. The OS supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for display comfort, while focus modes and app offloading are absent. Productivity is covered through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they download. It also supports widgets, a child lock, multi-user accounts, offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, battery health monitoring, and device position tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not available, and the Quick Start feature is likewise absent. Wi-Fi password sharing and the ability to use the phone as a PC are also not supported.

The Vivo Y19e is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W fast wired charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator, making it straightforward to keep track of remaining charge at a glance.

The Vivo Y19e has a fairly limited audio feature set. It does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, or any high-quality Bluetooth audio codec support — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. The one notable inclusion is a built-in radio, which allows users to tune into FM broadcasts without relying on streaming.

The Vivo Y19e supports 4G cellular connectivity but lacks 5G. For wireless networking, it covers Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), and pairs that with Bluetooth 5.2 and NFC. The device accepts two SIM cards and includes an external memory slot for storage expansion. Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, with maximum download and upload speeds of 300 Mbits/s and 100 Mbits/s respectively; HDMI output is not present. Navigation is covered by GPS, Galileo support, a compass, and an accelerometer, while a gyroscope, barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, ANT+, motion tracking, and optical tracking are all absent. Security options include a fingerprint scanner, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not featured. The device does not include crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, a stylus, or a built-in projector.

The Vivo Y19e includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate scenes during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
