The Vivo Y200 4G features a 6.67-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1200 nits, making it comfortable to use in varied lighting conditions. It does not include branded damage-resistant glass, an Always-On Display mode, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Vivo Y200 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration of 4 x 2.8 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, supported by 8 threads and integrated LTE. Graphics are handled by the Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while the maximum memory bandwidth reaches 17 GB/s. The device comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 16GB — alongside 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. It scores 473 and 1510 on Geekbench 6 single- and multi-core tests respectively, and 442 and 1787 on Geekbench 5, with the SoC also featuring NX bit and TrustZone security support, full 64-bit compatibility, and integrated graphics.

The Vivo Y200 4G sports a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP sensor at f/2.4, both using CMOS technology, though neither a back-illuminated sensor nor optical image stabilization is present. The Vivo Y200 4G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator, making it straightforward to keep track of remaining charge.

The Vivo Y200 4G includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio. None of the advanced Bluetooth audio codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.
