Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro

The Xiaomi Poco F7 Pro has a non-folding form factor with dimensions of 160.3 × 75 × 8.1 mm, a volume of 97.38 cm³, and a weight of 206 g. It does not feature a rugged build, but it does carry an IP68 rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and water ingress under standard testing conditions.

The Poco F7 Pro features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1440 × 3200 px and a pixel density of 526 ppi, supported by a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 480 Hz touch sampling rate for responsive input. Typical brightness is rated at 1800 nits, and the panel achieves a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, with support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content compatibility. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and includes an Always-On Display mode, while there is no secondary screen on the device.

The Poco F7 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 system-on-chip, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of up to 3.3 GHz across its big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support, and a TDP of 12.5 W. It comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 4800 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 76.6 GB/s across two memory channels. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 750 GPU running at 900 MHz with 3 execution units, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2, and OpenVG 1.2, driving a single display. The chipset also integrates LTE, supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, and ARM TrustZone security, while benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 2,035,700, Geekbench 6 single-core and multi-core scores of 2,213 and 7,325 respectively, and a 3DMark Steel Nomad score of 1,662. Cache configuration consists of 1 MB L2 and 12 MB L3.

The Poco F7 Pro features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP and an 8 MP lens, both using a CMOS sensor, with optical image stabilization and a dual-tone LED flash made up of two LEDs. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. The main camera supports video recording at up to 4320 × 24 fps, along with slow-motion video, HDR mode, burst mode, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, while 360° panorama shooting, RAW capture, manual shutter speed, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D photo or video are not supported. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but optical zoom is not available. On the front, a 20 MP single-lens camera is present without a front-facing flash or under-display placement, and the front camera does not support dual-lens configuration.

The Poco F7 Pro runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, a media picker, full-page screenshots, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. On-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands are all supported, alongside phone tracking, multi-user support, a child lock, app offloading, and a battery health check. The system is free and open source, though it does not offer direct OS vendor updates, Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, a Quick Start option, or the ability to function as a PC.

The Poco F7 Pro is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 90 W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, while wireless charging is not supported.

The Poco F7 Pro has stereo speakers and supports a wide range of Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and LDAC, though aptX Lossless is not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Poco F7 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds of up to 10,000 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 3,500 Mbit/s. Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E, and 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 is on board alongside NFC, GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and an infrared sensor. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and includes a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, while 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, and a stylus are not included. There is no external memory slot, HDMI output, barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, crash detection, satellite SOS, or built-in projector, and motion and optical tracking are also absent.

The Poco F7 Pro includes a video light, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
