The Poco M7 4G uses a touchscreen IPS LCD panel measuring 6.9″ with a 1080 x 2340 px resolution and a pixel density of 374 ppi. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring responsive input handling, while typical brightness reaches 700 nits and the contrast ratio stands at 1500:1. The display does not include an Always-On mode, branded damage-resistant glass, a secondary screen, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision.

The Poco M7 4G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G, a 6 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.8 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz across 8 threads, using big.LITTLE technology for workload distribution. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 256GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with external memory expandable up to 1TB; the maximum supported RAM capacity reaches 16GB and memory bandwidth tops out at 17 GB/s. The Poco M7 4G is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 33W fast charging, though no charger is included in the box. Wireless charging is not available, and the device features a battery level indicator for monitoring charge status.

The Poco M7 4G has a notably limited audio feature set — it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, offering only a single-channel audio output. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC. There is also no built-in radio receiver.
