Productivity is supported through split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customisable notifications, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user profiles, a child lock, app offloading, battery health checks, and device position tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and Wi-Fi password sharing is not supported.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator. It supports 90W fast charging via cable, though neither wireless charging nor reverse wireless charging is available.

Audio output is handled by stereo speakers, and the device supports LDAC for high-quality Bluetooth audio streaming. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack, and aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not supported.

The device includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no sapphire glass, and there is no e-paper screen.
