The ZTE RedMagic Astra features a lightweight design with a weight of just 370 g and a slim thickness of 6.9 mm. Its dimensions include a width of 207 mm and a height of 134.2 mm, offering a compact and portable form factor. This tablet is water-resistant with an IP54 rating, providing some protection against water splashes and dust. However, it does not come with a stylus, detachable keyboard, or backlit keyboard, and it lacks pen tilt sensitivity for more precise input control.

The ZTE RedMagic Astra is equipped with a 9.06″ OLED/AMOLED display that delivers vibrant visuals at a resolution of 2400 x 1504 px. The screen boasts a pixel density of 313 ppi, ensuring sharp and detailed images. With a 165Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, the tablet provides smooth interactions, ideal for gaming and responsive touch experiences. While it includes damage-resistant Gorilla Glass, it does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and lacks an anti-reflection coating or sapphire glass.

The ZTE RedMagic Astra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offers an impressive 24GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and performance. Its internal storage is 1024GB, providing ample space for files and apps. With a total CPU speed of 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz, the device delivers excellent processing power. Additionally, the device supports 64-bit architecture and features advanced GPU capabilities with the Adreno 830, capable of supporting two displays and enhanced graphics performance.

The ZTE RedMagic Astra is equipped with a 13 MP main camera and a 9 MP front camera, enabling high-quality photo and video capture. The main camera supports video recording at 2160 x 30 fps and features touch autofocus, while the front camera includes a wide aperture of f/2.2 for better low-light selfies. Additional camera features include built-in HDR mode, panorama shots, slow-motion video recording, manual ISO, and manual white balance for more precise control over your shots. However, it does not support optical zoom, HDR10 recording, or Dolby Vision recording.

The ZTE RedMagic Astra features stereo speakers for an enhanced audio experience, but it does not support advanced Bluetooth audio technologies such as aptX, LDAC, or aptX Low Latency.
