The Aurzen Boom Air has a compact footprint, measuring 100 mm in width and thickness with a height of 260 mm, resulting in a total volume of 2,600 cm³ and a weight of 1,200 g. It does not use a laser light source, relying instead on a conventional lamp. Operating noise is rated at 27 dB, keeping the unit relatively quiet during use. A dedicated smartphone app is available for added control and convenience, while the warranty period covers one year of ownership.
The Aurzen Boom Air outputs a 1080p resolution image at 300 ANSI lumens with an 8-bit color depth and a contrast ratio of 500:1. It supports HDR10 for improved tonal range, but does not support HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or HLG. The projector can display images up to 200″ from a minimum throw distance of 1.1 m. Focus is handled exclusively through a motorized mechanism — there is no manual focus option — while zoom is not motorized. 3D content with glasses is not supported.
The Aurzen Boom Air offers a range of wireless and wired connectivity options. On the wireless side, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, and Miracast, covering most common screen-mirroring and streaming scenarios. For wired connections, there is one HDMI port and one USB port, while VGA, DVI, RJ45, and S/PDIF output are all absent from the unit.
The Aurzen Boom Air includes a built-in smart TV platform and comes with a remote control for navigation. Audio is handled by a single built-in 10W speaker with Dolby Atmos support, though the configuration is mono rather than stereo, and there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack available. Lens shift, both vertical and horizontal, is not supported, and the unit does not include an external memory slot.
