The Baseus Bowie MF1 uses an in-ear fit and operates as a fully true wireless design with no cables or neckband. It carries an IPX4 ingress protection rating, offering resistance to sweat, which makes it reasonably suited for physical activity. The earbuds deliver stereo sound and do not include wingtips, RGB lighting, a UV light, or any display element.
The Baseus Bowie MF1 uses a 16 mm driver unit and covers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, spanning the standard limits of human hearing. It relies on passive noise reduction to limit ambient sound, as active noise cancellation is not included. Spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, and a neodymium magnet are all absent from this model.
The Baseus Bowie MF1 offers 12 hours of battery life per charge, with the included charging case extending total playback to 48 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds feature a rechargeable battery with a built-in battery level indicator. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported on this model.
The Baseus Bowie MF1 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and supports both LDAC and AAC audio codecs for higher-quality wireless playback. The charging case uses USB-C, though fast pairing and NFC pairing are not available. The aptX codec family — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Low Latency, aptX Lossless, and aptX Voice — is not supported, nor are LDHC, Bluetooth LE Audio, or Auracast.
The Baseus Bowie MF1 supports multipoint connection with up to two devices simultaneously and can be used as a headset, complete with a mute function and voice prompts. Fast charging is supported, and controls are handled via a panel on the earbuds themselves rather than an in-line remote. A travel bag is included in the box. Ambient sound mode, in-ear detection, a find-device feature, notification reading, a body temperature sensor, and a camera remote shutter are all absent from this model.
The Baseus Bowie MF1 is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone, which helps reduce background sound during calls and voice communication.
