The Huawei Pura 80 Pro has a non-folding, standard-slab form factor measuring 163 mm tall, 76.1 mm wide, and 8.3 mm thick, with a total volume of roughly 102.96 cm³ and a weight of 219 g. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and sustained water immersion. The device does not feature a rugged build designation, though the IP68 certification still provides a meaningful level of environmental protection for everyday use.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro features a 6.8″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1276 x 2848 px and a pixel density of 459 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across its large panel. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 2500 nits. It supports Always-On Display and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. The screen does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen on the device.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 9010 chipset, built on a 7 nm process with a thermal design power of 6W and an octa-core CPU configuration running at 1 x 2.3, 4 x 2.18, and 3 x 1.55 GHz with a turbo clock speed of 3.3GHz, using big.LITTLE technology for efficiency management. The SoC integrates a Mali-G57 GPU with DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support, alongside integrated LTE and ARM TrustZone for hardware-level security. The device comes with 12GB of RAM at 2750 MHz and 1024GB of internal storage, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 44 GB/s and cache organized as 64 KB L1, 0.512 MB L2, and 4 MB L3. The platform supports 64-bit processing but does not support ECC memory.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro features a triple rear camera system with 50MP, 48MP, and 40MP sensors at apertures of f/1.6, f/2.1, and f/2.2 respectively, all built on CMOS technology and supported by optical image stabilization and 4x optical zoom. Autofocus options include laser autofocus, phase-detection autofocus for photos, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, while the dual-tone LED flash uses two LEDs. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro includes a range of software features covering both usability and privacy. It supports multi-user accounts, split-screen multitasking, widgets, voice commands, customizable notifications, theme customization, dark mode, and sharing intents, giving users considerable control over their day-to-day experience. Privacy-conscious users benefit from camera and microphone access controls, while parental management is available through a child lock. The OS also includes phone tracking, a battery health check tool, and an always-accessible multi-user environment. The device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, and it does not support AirPlay or PC mode functionality.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro is equipped with a 5700 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a visible charge level indicator and a charger included in the box. Wired fast charging is supported at 100W, while wireless charging reaches 80W, and reverse wireless charging allows the device to top up other accessories at 20W.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro features stereo speakers and supports LDAC for high-quality wireless audio transmission over Bluetooth. It does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a built-in radio, or any aptX variant — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, or aptX Lossless.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro supports 5G cellular connectivity alongside dual SIM capability, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n/ac/ax/be). Wired connectivity is handled via a USB Type-C port running USB 3.1, though there is no HDMI output or external memory slot. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, uses no e-paper technology, and is not protected by sapphire glass.
