The earbuds include no RGB lighting, UV light, or any kind of built-in display.
The JLab JBuds Pods are equipped with 11 mm driver units and cover a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz. The earbuds do not include Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet.
The JLab JBuds Pods deliver 10 hours of battery life per charge, with the accompanying charging case extending the total to 46 hours. A full charge takes 2 hours, and the earbuds feature a rechargeable battery along with a battery level indicator to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar power are not supported.
The JLab JBuds Pods connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 meters, and support fast pairing for quick device hookups. USB Type-C is used for wired charging. The JLab JBuds Pods include an ambient sound mode for awareness of surroundings, along with a mute function and voice prompts for hands-free feedback. The earbuds do not offer in-ear detection for auto-pausing, notification reading, a built-in translator, a body temperature sensor, or a camera remote shutter function.
