It does not carry a rugged designation, so while the IP65 certification offers meaningful environmental protection, the chassis itself is not built to military or extreme-durability standards.

The Oppo A5i features a 6.67″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi, covered by branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. The panel runs at a 90Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, contributing to smoother scrolling and more responsive input. Typical brightness is rated at 850 nits, while HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. The device is a single-screen, non-foldable design with no advanced HDR certification on the display side.
