It carries an IP69 ingress protection rating, confirming full waterproofing down to a depth of 1.5 m, though it does not feature a rugged build construction.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 px and a pixel density of 450 ppi, delivering sharp visuals at a typical brightness of 800 nits. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content, includes an Always-On Display mode, and does not have a secondary screen.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip, fabricated on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 4.21 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE architecture and heterogeneous multi-processing. It is paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 5333 MHz, a maximum memory capacity of 24 GB, and 1024 GB of internal storage. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G1 Ultra MP12 GPU clocked at 1750 MHz with 128 shading units and OpenCL 3 support, achieving a 3DMark Wild Life Extreme score of 6808. The chipset also posts a Geekbench 6 single-core score of 3781 and a multi-core score of 12189, alongside an AnTuTu score of 3,649,108. Additional hardware capabilities include integrated LTE, 64-bit support, multithreading, a maximum memory bandwidth of 85.3 GB/s, and a 16 MB L3 cache.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro features a multi-lens rear camera system with three CMOS sensors rated at 200 MP, 50 MP, and 50 MP, with apertures of f/2.1, f/1.5, and f/2.0 respectively, covering a focal range from 15 mm to 70 mm and offering 3x optical zoom. Autofocus options include phase-detection, laser, and touch autofocus, along with continuous autofocus during video recording, while optical image stabilization is built in. The system supports a broad manual control set covering exposure, ISO, shutter speed, white balance, and focus, plus HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, timelapse, slow-motion video, RAW capture, and HDR10 video recording — though Dolby Vision recording and 360° panorama are not supported. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The 50 MP front camera has an f/2.0 aperture and is a single-lens setup positioned conventionally on the front of the device, without an under-display placement or a front-facing flash.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro runs Android 16 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Users can block app tracking, and the system supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Customization options span theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, widgets, and customizable notifications, while practical usability features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. A child lock, multi-user support, battery health check, and phone tracking are also available. Focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and direct OS vendor updates are not supported, and the device cannot be used as a PC.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro is equipped with a 7500 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is available at 50W, and the device also supports reverse wireless charging at 10W, allowing it to top up other devices. An ultra power-saving mode, a battery level indicator, and a battery health check round out the feature set.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro has stereo speakers and supports aptX, aptX HD, and LDAC for high-quality Bluetooth audio transmission, though aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro supports 5G cellular connectivity alongside dual SIM capability, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) with backwards compatibility through Wi-Fi 4, 5, and 6, and Bluetooth 6, with a maximum download speed of 10,700 Mbit/s. A USB Type-C port and NFC are present, while there is no external memory slot, HDMI output, or DLNA certification. For location and navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer is absent. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner or 3D facial recognition on board. The phone also features an infrared sensor and emergency SOS via satellite, but does not include crash detection, ANT+ support, a heart rate monitor, motion or optical tracking, a built-in projector, or a stylus.

The Oppo Find X9 Pro includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
