Realme C71

The Realme C71 has a standard, non-folding form factor measuring 165.8 mm tall, 75.9 mm wide, and just 7.8 mm thick, with a total weight of 196 g. Despite its slim build, it carries an IP68 rating, meaning it is fully waterproof and well-protected against dust and water ingress. It does not feature a rugged construction, so while the IP68 certification provides solid environmental protection, the chassis itself is not built to ruggedized standards.

The Realme C71 uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.67″ with a resolution of 720 x 1604 px and a pixel density of 264 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, and reaches a typical brightness of 725 nits, with a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Realme C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, built on a 12 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 1.8 GHz and 6 x 1.6 GHz using big.LITTLE technology and 8 threads, supported by 6 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 1866 MHz and 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 12 GB. Graphics are handled by the Mali G57 GPU with 2 execution units, 64 shading units, and a clock speed of 850 MHz, supporting OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The SoC is 64-bit capable, includes integrated LTE, integrated graphics, TrustZone security, and multithreading support, with a thermal design power of 10W and 1 MB of L3 cache. In Geekbench 6, the chipset scores 437 single-core and 1461 multi-core, while Geekbench 5 results sit at 357 single-core and 1350 multi-core.

The Realme C71 features a single rear camera with a 50 MP CMOS sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, capable of recording video at 1080p 30 fps, with no optical zoom and no optical image stabilization. Autofocus options include phase-detection autofocus for photos, continuous autofocus during video, and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed is not available. The camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, slow-motion video, panorama, and timelapse, but does not shoot in RAW format, does not support 360° panorama, and lacks HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Flash is provided by a single LED unit with no dual-tone or RGB configuration. On the front, there is a 5 MP single-lens camera with an f/2.2 aperture, positioned above the display rather than under it, and it has no dedicated flash or additional lens.

The Realme C71 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, multi-user accounts, child lock, app offloading, battery health check, and phone tracking. OS updates do not come directly from the vendor, and the device cannot be used as a PC. Wi-Fi password sharing is also not supported.

The Realme C71 houses a 6300 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator included. It supports 45W fast charging, and a charger is provided in the box. Wireless charging is not available on this device.

The Realme C71 includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, offering wired audio connectivity. It does not feature stereo speakers, so audio output is limited to a single speaker. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec standards are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent. The device also lacks a built-in radio.

The Realme C71 supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, and accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot for expandable storage. Cellular connectivity is present but limited to LTE, as 5G is not supported, with download speeds reaching 300 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 150 Mbits/s. The device uses a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0 and has no HDMI output. For navigation, it includes GPS, Galileo support, and a compass, while the sensor suite covers an accelerometer and a fingerprint scanner, though it lacks a gyroscope, barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking. Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and iris scanning are not available. Additional features such as satellite SOS, crash detection, DLNA, ANT+, a stylus, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Realme C71 includes a video light, which can be used to illuminate subjects during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and it uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
