Realme C85 Pro

A standout aspect of its build is the IP69 ingress protection rating, which certifies it as waterproof and capable of withstanding submersion down to 6 metres. The device does not feature a rugged construction, nor does it support a folding form factor, making it a standard candybar-style handset.

The Realme C85 Pro features a 6.8″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2344 px at a pixel density of 254 ppi, paired with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision content. There is no Always-On Display mode and no secondary screen, keeping the panel setup straightforward.

The Realme C85 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 4G chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration of 4 x 2.8 GHz and 4 x 1.9 GHz across 8 threads using big.LITTLE technology, integrated LTE, and an Adreno 610 GPU clocked at 1260 MHz with DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. The chip is paired with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17 GB/s, with support for up to 16 GB total memory, alongside 256 GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage. The platform supports 64-bit processing, NX bit, and TrustZone security, and scored 473 single-core and 1510 multi-core in Geekbench 6, as well as 442 single-core and 1787 multi-core in Geekbench 5.

The main camera on the Realme C85 Pro uses a 50 MP CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and supports phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though it lacks laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, and a back-illuminated sensor. It records video at up to 1080p 60 fps, with no optical zoom, and does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, nor 3D or 360-degree capture. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, slow-motion video, panorama, timelapse, and HDR mode are all available; a single LED flash is present, though it is neither dual-tone nor RGB. The 8 MP front camera sits at f/2.0 and is a single-lens setup without an under-display placement or a front-facing flash, and raw file capture is not supported on either camera.

The Realme C85 Pro runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are not supported. On the productivity side, the device offers split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, Live Text, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. Privacy and security features extend to app tracking blocking, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, child lock, and multi-user support, with widgets also available. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not provided, and the device cannot be used as a PC; Wi-Fi password sharing is likewise absent.

The Realme C85 Pro houses a 7000 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator and supports 45W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. The battery is not removable, and the device does not support wireless charging or reverse wireless charging.

The Realme C85 Pro has a notably limited audio feature set — it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack and stereo speakers, and offers no radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are present, with no support for aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Realme C85 Pro includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
