Realme P3

The Realme P3 has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 163.2 mm tall, 75.7 mm wide, and just 8 mm thick, with a total volume of 98.83 cm³ and a weight of 194 g. A standout aspect of its build is the IP68 ingress protection rating, which classifies it as fully waterproof and offers a meaningful degree of protection against dust and water immersion.

The Realme P3 features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, delivering a reasonably sharp visual experience. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother motion, though it does not include an Always-On Display mode, branded damage-resistant glass, or support for HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Realme P3 is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 2.3 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture, and a thermal design power of 7W. It is paired with 8GB of DDR5 RAM at 2750 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 16GB — alongside 256GB of internal storage, and scores 684,046 on AnTuTu, 1,104 in Geekbench 6 single-core, and 3,105 in multi-core. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 810 GPU clocked at 800 MHz, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 12 GB/s. The chipset also includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and full 64-bit support.

The Realme P3 carries a dual-lens rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary lens, featuring an f/1.8 aperture, a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and phase-detection autofocus, though it lacks a back-illuminated sensor and laser autofocus. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30fps, with support for slow-motion recording, continuous autofocus during video, and a single LED flash, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and shooting modes include burst, timelapse, panorama, and touch autofocus, though manual shutter speed and 360° panorama are absent. On the front, a 16MP single-lens camera with an f/2.4 aperture handles selfies, without a front-facing flash or an under-display placement, and optical zoom is not present on either camera.

The Realme P3 runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy is addressed through clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not included. Personalization options span dark mode, dynamic theming, and theme customization, while productivity is aided by full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, Live Text selection, and an extra dim display mode. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, a child lock, sharing intents, and a battery health check, though focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not available, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Realme P3 is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 45W wired fast charging, and includes a battery level indicator for keeping track of remaining charge. The battery is non-removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Realme P3 includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5mm headphone jack and does not feature a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec options are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC.

The Realme P3 supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, with download speeds reaching up to 2900 Mbit/s and upload speeds up to 1600 Mbit/s, and accommodates two SIM cards with no external memory slot available. Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C, and an infrared sensor are all present, while HDMI output, DLNA certification, and ANT+ support are not. For navigation and motion sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer, heart rate monitor, motion tracking, and optical tracking are absent. Security is handled through a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not featured, and there is no stylus included, no crash detection, no satellite SOS, and no built-in projector.

The Realme P3 includes a video light to assist with recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
