The Vivo T4 Lite 5G has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 167.3 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 8.2 mm thick, with a total volume of 105.63 cm³ and a weight of 202 g. It carries an IP64 ingress protection rating, making it resistant to dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, though it does not feature a fully rugged build.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G features a 6.74″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi, paired with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion. The display does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no Always-On Display mode or secondary screen. It also lacks branded damage-resistant glass coverage.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 system-on-chip, fabricated on a 6 nm process and configured with eight threads across two clusters running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It scores 782 in Geekbench 6 single-core and 2012 in multi-core testing, and graphics are handled by an integrated Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz with DirectX 12 support. The chip ships paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz — expandable up to 12 GB — alongside 256 GB of internal storage, a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s, and a cache hierarchy consisting of 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3 cache. Integrated LTE, 64-bit support, and multithreading are all present.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/1.8 with a 2 MP lens at f/2.4, backed by a CMOS sensor, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though optical image stabilization and laser autofocus are absent. The main camera records video at 1080p and 30 fps with slow-motion support, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, and shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse, although manual shutter speed and RAW capture are not supported; a single LED flash is present but there is no dual-tone or RGB flash. The Vivo T4 Lite 5G runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user profiles, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device tracking. Privacy controls are well covered, including location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking protection, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. On the customization side, the OS offers dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications with notification permission controls, widgets, and a media picker. Productivity-oriented features include split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, the ability to offload apps, and the option to play games while they are still downloading. A battery health check and child lock are also present, while focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported; OS updates are not delivered directly from the platform vendor.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G is equipped with a 6000 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 15W fast charging, and a battery level indicator is present to keep the user informed of remaining charge. The battery is non-removable, and neither wireless charging nor reverse wireless charging are supported.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G covers the essentials for wired and speaker-based audio, offering a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the higher-quality Bluetooth codecs — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC — are supported.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G supports 5G cellular connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and accommodates two SIM cards with a maximum download speed of 3300 Mbits/s. It connects to accessories and peripherals via Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, while an external memory slot provides additional storage flexibility. For location and navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, and an accelerometer, and a fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication — though NFC, 3D facial recognition, and an iris scanner are all absent. Sensors such as a gyroscope, barometer, heart rate monitor, and infrared sensor are not included, and there is no HDMI output, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, built-in projector, stylus, crash detection, or emergency SOS via satellite.

The Vivo T4 Lite 5G includes a video light for illumination during video capture, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
