Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra

The Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 160.3 x 75 x 8.4 mm with a volume of 100.989 cm³, and weighs 212 g. It carries an IP68 rating, making it fully waterproof against dust and water ingress.

The Poco F7 Ultra features a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1440 x 3200 px resolution at 526 ppi, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Typical brightness is rated at 1800 nits with a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, and the panel supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide-format content compatibility. The display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass, includes an Always-On Display mode, and does not feature a secondary screen.

The Poco F7 Ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP configurations, and a TDP of 8.2W. It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM at 5300 MHz and 512GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 24GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s across 2 channels. The Adreno 830 GPU clocks at 1100 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 3, and includes 1536 shading units with output to up to 2 displays. The chipset supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, TrustZone, ECC memory, and integrated LTE, while cache is distributed across 192 KB L1, 12 MB L2, and 8 MB L3. Benchmark scores include an AnTuTu result of 2,580,490, Geekbench 6 single-core of 2,970, multi-core of 8,887, and a 3DMark Wild Life Extreme score of 6,204.

The Poco F7 Ultra features a multi-lens rear camera system with three CMOS sensors at 50, 50, and 32 MP and apertures of f/1.6, f/2, and f/2.2, covering a focal range of 15 mm to 60 mm with 2.5x optical zoom and built-in optical image stabilization. Video recording reaches up to 4320 x 24 fps, with support for slow-motion recording, continuous autofocus during video, but no HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, though manual shutter speed, laser autofocus, and RAW shooting are not available. The rear camera also supports HDR mode, burst shooting, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas, but does not shoot 360° panoramas or 3D content, and the two flash LEDs do not form a dual-tone or RGB configuration. On the front, a single 32 MP camera is present without a dedicated flash, a secondary lens, or an under-display placement.

The Poco F7 Ultra runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls such as clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, widgets, and the ability to play games during downloads. On-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, phone tracking, multi-user support, app offloading, child lock, and battery health check are all present, whereas Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and PC mode are not supported. The OS is free and open source, but does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Poco F7 Ultra houses a 5300 mAh rechargeable battery with a battery level indicator and comes with a charger included in the box. It supports 120W wired fast charging as well as 50W wireless charging, though reverse wireless charging is not available. The battery is non-removable.

The Poco F7 Ultra includes stereo speakers and supports a full range of Bluetooth audio codecs: aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC. It does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and lacks a built-in radio.

The Poco F7 Ultra supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds of up to 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds of up to 3,500 Mbits/s. Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 7 (802.11n, ac, ax, ax 6E, and be), and Bluetooth 6 is on board alongside NFC and a USB Type-C port, though there is no external memory slot or HDMI output. Sensors include a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, GPS with Galileo support, and an infrared sensor, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, ANT+ support, 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent. Crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, and a stylus are likewise not featured.

The Poco F7 Ultra includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, but does not feature a sapphire glass display, a curved display, or an e-paper display.
