The ASRock B650M Pro X3D Wi-Fi is built around the AM5 socket and the B650 chipset, housed in a Micro-ATX form factor measuring 244 mm × 244 mm, making it a compact yet capable platform for AMD-based builds. It supports a single CPU and does not include an integrated CPU or integrated graphics. Wireless connectivity is handled by a built-in adapter covering Wi-Fi 4 through Wi-Fi 6E (802.11n, 802.11ac, and 802.11ax), paired with Bluetooth 5.2, though aptX audio over Bluetooth is not supported. The board features HDMI 2.1 output, RGB lighting, and overclocking support, while BIOS reset via a dedicated clear CMOS button and dual BIOS functionality are not included. A three-year warranty is provided with the product.
This board supports DDR5 memory across four slots in a dual-channel configuration, with a maximum supported capacity of 256 GB. Overclocked RAM speeds can reach up to 8000 MHz, providing headroom for performance-focused memory kits. ECC memory is not supported.
The rear I/O panel offers a varied USB selection, including one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and four USB 2.0 ports; there are no USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, Gen 2x2, USB 4, Thunderbolt 3, or Thunderbolt 4 ports. Display output is handled by one HDMI port and one DisplayPort output, with no DVI or VGA connectivity present. Networking is covered by a single RJ45 port, and there are no eSATA or PS/2 ports included.
The board provides three M.2 sockets for fast storage devices alongside four SATA 3 connectors, while SATA 2, mSATA, and U.2 are not available. Internal expansion headers include four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and four USB 2.0 ports accessible through expansion, as well as four additional USB 3.0 ports via headers. Cooling is supported by five fan headers, and there is no TPM connector present on the board.
The board offers two expansion slots in total: one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the primary graphics card or high-bandwidth device, and one PCIe x4 slot for additional expansion cards. There are no PCIe 2.0, 3.0, or 4.0 x16 slots, and no PCIe x1, x8, or legacy PCI slots are present.
The onboard audio supports a 7.1-channel configuration and provides three analog audio connectors on the rear I/O. There is no S/PDIF Out port available on this board.
The board supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 10 configurations, covering common use cases for both performance-oriented striping and redundancy-focused setups. RAID 5 and RAID 0+1 are not supported.
