Doogee Note 59 Pro

The Doogee Note 59 Pro has a straightforward, non-folding design with no rugged build certification and no water resistance. It stands 168 mm tall and 77.5 mm wide, with a thickness of 8.6 mm and a total volume of 111.972 cm³. At 199 g, it sits at a moderate weight for a device of its size.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro features a 6.75″ IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, which contributes to smoother on-screen motion. The display does not include branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Always-On Display functionality. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chipset, built on a 6 nm process and configured with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.3 GHz and 6 x 2.1 GHz using big.LITTLE technology. It comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz, with the maximum supported memory reaching 10GB, alongside 256GB of internal storage. Graphics are handled by an integrated Mali G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 850 MHz. The SoC supports 64-bit processing, includes integrated LTE, and the device is capable of utilizing integrated graphics for on-device rendering tasks.

The main camera on the Doogee Note 59 Pro uses a 50 MP single-lens CMOS sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though it lacks optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and a back-illuminated sensor. Video recording tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, with no support for HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, and there is no optical zoom. The camera app offers a solid range of manual controls, including manual exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, along with HDR mode, burst shooting, panorama, slow-motion video, and timelapse, but does not support manual shutter speed or RAW capture. A single LED flash is present, with no dual-tone or RGB flash option. The 8 MP front camera sits at f/2.2 and is a single-lens unit positioned above the display, without a front-facing flash or under-display placement.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a media picker, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. It also features on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text selection, sharing intents, a child lock, multi-user support, phone tracking, battery health check, and an extra dim mode. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and the device does not include focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, or the ability to function as a PC.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro is equipped with a 6250 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 18W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present for monitoring charge status. The battery is not removable and does not support wireless charging.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack, offering wired audio connectivity. It does not feature stereo speakers, and there is no support for any high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC. A built-in radio is also absent.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) covering wireless networking needs. Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC are both on board, and a USB Type-C port (USB 2.0) handles wired connections, though there is no HDMI output. An external memory slot is available for additional storage. On the sensor side, the device includes a fingerprint scanner, GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. Security biometrics are limited to the fingerprint scanner, as 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported. The phone does not include crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+ support, DLNA certification, a stylus, or a built-in projector.

The Doogee Note 59 Pro includes a video light for illumination during video recording. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass or an e-paper display.
