The JBL Sense Lite feature an open-ear fit and a fully wireless design with no cables or neckband, keeping things lightweight at 38 g. They carry an IP54 rating, offering resistance to sweat and making them suitable for active use. Stereo speakers are built in, while wingtips, RGB lighting, UV light, and a display are not part of the design.
The JBL Sense Lite use 15.4 mm drivers covering a full frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, with an impedance of 32 Ohms and a sound pressure level of 86 dB/mW. The earbuds do not include active noise cancellation, passive noise reduction, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Dirac Virtuo, or a neodymium magnet.
The JBL Sense Lite have a rechargeable battery offering 8 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending total listening time to 24 hours. A full charge takes 1.5 hours, and a battery level indicator is included to keep track of remaining power. Wireless charging and solar battery support are not available.
The JBL Sense Lite connect wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.4 with a maximum range of 10 m, and charge through a USB Type-C port. Advanced audio codecs including LDAC, LDHC, AAC, and the full aptX family are not supported, nor is Bluetooth LE Audio or Auracast. Fast pairing and NFC pairing are also absent from the feature set.
The JBL Sense Lite support multipoint connectivity for up to two devices simultaneously and include fast charging for quicker power top-ups. They can function as a headset, feature a mute function, voice prompts, and a control panel placed on the device itself. A travel bag is included in the package. On the other hand, ambient sound mode, in/on-ear detection, notification reading, an in-line control panel, a built-in translator, a temperature sensor, and a camera remote function are not part of the feature set.
The JBL Sense Lite are equipped with a four-microphone array that includes noise-canceling capability, helping to reduce unwanted background sounds during calls and voice use.
