It carries an IP64 rating, making it resistant to dust ingress and capable of withstanding water splashes, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G uses an IPS LCD touchscreen measuring 6.75″ with a resolution of 720 x 1600 px and a pixel density of 260 ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother on-screen motion, though it does not include branded damage-resistant glass, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, or an Always-On Display. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with a CPU configuration of 2 cores at 2.5 GHz and 6 cores at 2 GHz using big.LITTLE technology, alongside multithreading support and integrated LTE. Graphics are handled by an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 950 MHz, supporting DirectX 12 and a single display output. The device comes with 4 GB of DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s, paired with 128 GB of internal storage. The platform is fully 64-bit compatible and includes integrated graphics.

The main camera on the Lava Storm Lite 5G features a 50 MP single-lens CMOS sensor with phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video recording, and a single LED flash, though it lacks optical image stabilization, a BSI sensor, laser autofocus, and dual-tone or RGB flash options. Manual controls cover ISO, exposure, focus, and white balance, while RAW capture and manual shutter speed are not supported. Video recording reaches up to 1440 x 30 fps with slow-motion support, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are absent, as are 3D and 360° capture. Additional shooting modes include HDR, panorama, and timelapse. On the front, a 5 MP single-lens camera handles selfies without a front-facing flash or under-display placement.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G runs Android 15 as a free and open-source platform, offering a broad set of privacy controls including clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not present. On the personalization side, it supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customizable notifications, widgets, and a media picker, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are unavailable. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. The device also supports offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, multi-user accounts, a child lock, phone tracking, and a battery health check, though Quick Start and the ability to function as a PC are not included. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 15W fast charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor remaining charge at a glance. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for wired audio, but does not feature stereo speakers or a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec standards are supported, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.2, and a cellular module, with a maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s. It accommodates two SIM cards and includes an external memory slot for additional storage. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0, while NFC, HDMI output, and DLNA certification are absent. For navigation, the device features GPS with Galileo support and a compass, and its sensor suite includes a gyroscope and accelerometer, though a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking are not present. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no 3D facial recognition or iris scanner on board. ANT+, satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, a built-in projector, and a stylus are also not included.

The Lava Storm Lite 5G includes a video light to assist with video recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
