Motorola Edge 60

The Motorola Edge 60 has a compact and slim form factor, measuring 161.2 mm tall, 73.1 mm wide, and just 7.9 mm thick, with a weight of 179 g that keeps it comfortable for everyday handling. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, confirming full waterproof capability under standard testing conditions. The phone is not designed as a rugged device and does not feature a folding form factor, placing it firmly in the category of traditional candy-bar smartphones.

The Motorola Edge 60 features a 6.7″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 px and a pixel density of 446 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed visual experience. The display refreshes at 120Hz for smooth scrolling and motion, and it supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, though Dolby Vision is not supported. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the device does not include a secondary screen.

The Motorola Edge 60 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with 6,200 million transistors and an octa-core CPU configuration running at 4 x 2.5 GHz and 4 x 2 GHz using big.LITTLE architecture with HMP support. It is paired with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM operating at 6,400 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory of 16 GB. Graphics are handled by the Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1,047 MHz with support for DirectX 12 and a single display output. The chipset supports 64-bit processing and has integrated LTE. In benchmark testing, the device scores 675,600 on AnTuTu, 2,932 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 1,026 on Geekbench 6 single-core.

The Motorola Edge 60 features a triple rear camera system with 50 MP, 50 MP, and 10 MP sensors carrying apertures of f/1.8, f/2, and f/2 respectively, and pixel sizes of 1, 1, and 0.64 µm, covering a focal range from 12 mm to 73 mm with 3x optical zoom. The main camera uses a CMOS sensor and includes optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not present. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with slow-motion recording supported, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, with burst mode, timelapse, panorama, and HDR mode also on board; manual shutter speed, however, is not supported. A single LED flash is included on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash, and the front camera offers 50 MP at f/2 without a front-facing flash, dual-lens setup, or under-display placement.

The Motorola Edge 60 runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. On the usability side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, customizable notifications, notification permissions, a media picker, widgets, split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. Additional features include on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user support, a child lock, battery health check, and an extra dim mode; focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and PC mode are not supported. The device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor, and the platform is free and open source.

The Motorola Edge 60 is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 68W fast wired charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is built in for convenient monitoring, though the battery is not removable and wireless charging is not supported.

The Motorola Edge 60 includes stereo speakers for audio output, but does not feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio.

The Motorola Edge 60 supports 5G connectivity with a cellular module, Wi-Fi, and NFC, and accommodates two SIM cards alongside an external memory slot for expandable storage. It connects via USB Type-C with USB 2.0 and reaches download and upload speeds of up to 3,270 Mbit/s. For navigation, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, while onboard sensors cover a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass. Security is handled by a fingerprint scanner, with no iris scanner, 3D facial recognition, or stylus included. Features such as satellite emergency SOS, crash detection, DLNA certification, ANT+, a heart rate monitor, barometer, infrared sensor, HDMI output, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all absent.

The Motorola Edge 60 features a curved display and includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. It does not use sapphire glass for screen protection, nor does it incorporate an e-paper display.
