The Ulefone Armor 29 Pro Thermal features a rugged build designed to withstand harsh environments, backed by an IP68 rating that certifies waterproof protection to a depth of 1.5 metres. It is not a folding device, and its physical footprint reflects its heavy-duty nature: the handset measures 177.4 mm tall, 85.6 mm wide, and 33.8 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 513.27 cm³. At 688 g, it sits firmly in the heavier end of the smartphone spectrum, consistent with the reinforced construction expected of a device in this category.

The device uses an OLED/AMOLED touch panel measuring 6.67″ with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 px and a pixel density of 395 ppi, paired with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3, though it does not support HDR10, HDR10+ or Dolby Vision. A secondary screen is also present, running at a resolution of 340 x 340 px, while the main panel does not support any of the listed HDR standards.

The device houses a 21200 mAh rechargeable battery with a built-in level indicator, and a charger is included in the box. Wired fast charging is supported at 120W, though wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are both absent. The battery is not removable.

The device includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio, though it lacks stereo speakers. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codec options are present — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.
