Vivo T4 5G

The Vivo T4 5G has a non-folding, non-rugged form factor measuring 163.4 mm tall, 76.4 mm wide, and just 7.9 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 98.62 cm³ and a weight of 199 g. It carries an IP65 rating, meaning it offers solid protection against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it water resistant in everyday situations.

The Vivo T4 5G features a 6.77″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi, backed by a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid on-screen motion. Typical brightness sits at 1300 nits, and the display supports Always-On functionality along with branded damage-resistant glass for added durability. It does not support HDR10, HDR10+, or Dolby Vision, and there is no secondary screen.

The Vivo T4 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a 4 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration of 1 x 2.5 GHz, 3 x 2.4 GHz, and 4 x 1.8 GHz cores, a turbo clock of 2.4 GHz, and a thermal design power of 5W. The chip supports 64-bit processing, big.LITTLE technology, HMP, multithreading across 8 threads, integrated LTE, and ARM TrustZone security. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU running at 1050 MHz with 128 shading units, supporting DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2. The device ships with 12GB of DDR5 RAM at 3200 MHz — expandable up to a maximum of 16GB — alongside 256GB of internal storage, a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s, and Geekbench 6 scores of 1162 single-core and 3239 multi-core.

The Vivo T4 5G uses a dual-lens rear camera system pairing a 50 MP main sensor at f/1.8 with a 2 MP secondary lens at f/2.4, both using a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination. The main camera includes optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, and a single LED flash — though laser autofocus, dual-tone flash, and RGB flash are absent. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while shutter speed adjustment is not available, and the camera does not shoot RAW files. Video recording reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps with slow-motion support, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Additional shooting modes include HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse, while 360-degree panorama and 3D capture are not available. On the front, a single 32 MP camera with an f/2 aperture handles selfies, with no front-facing flash, no secondary front lens, and no under-display placement.

The Vivo T4 5G runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking — though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. On the customization side, the OS supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, and customizable notifications, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. The system also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user accounts, a child lock, and battery health monitoring, but it does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor and cannot be used as a PC.

The Vivo T4 5G is equipped with a 7300 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 90W fast wired charging, and a battery level indicator is present for at-a-glance monitoring. Wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo T4 5G has a notably limited audio feature set: it lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the Qualcomm aptX variants — including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless — are supported, and LDAC is absent as well.

The Vivo T4 5G supports 5G connectivity with a dual-SIM cellular module and a maximum download speed of 2900 MBits/s, alongside Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 for wireless networking. Bluetooth 5.2 handles short-range wireless, while the USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speeds; there is no NFC, no external memory slot, and no HDMI output. On the sensor and navigation front, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and an infrared sensor, but lacks a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking. Biometric security is provided by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not present; there is also no stylus, no ANT+ support, no DLNA certification, no crash detection, no satellite SOS, and no built-in projector.

The Vivo T4 5G includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
