Xiaomi 15T

The Xiaomi 15T has a non-folding, standard-form design measuring 163.2 mm tall, 78 mm wide, and 7.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 95.472 cm³ and a weight of 194 g. It carries an IP68 rating, classifying it as waterproof and capable of withstanding submersion down to 3 meters. The device does not feature a rugged build, so while its water resistance provides reliable everyday protection, it is not designed for heavy-duty outdoor use.

The Xiaomi 15T features a 6.83″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 px and a pixel density of 435 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate for responsive interaction. The display supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision, and achieves a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, while the Always-On Display feature keeps basic information visible at all times. Screen durability is handled by Gorilla Glass 7i, and the panel does not include a secondary screen.

The Xiaomi 15T is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, built on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 3.25 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technology, alongside a Mali G720 MC7 GPU clocked at 1300 MHz with integrated graphics, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2 support. It comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 4267 MHz across 4 memory channels, offering a maximum memory bandwidth of 68.2 GB/s and support for up to 24 GB total, backed by 512 GB of internal storage. The processor includes 1 MB of L2 cache and 6 MB of L3 cache, and supports 64-bit processing, NX bit, and TrustZone security, with benchmark results of 1,821,100 on AnTuTu, 6033 on Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 1571 on single-core.

The Xiaomi 15T features a triple rear camera system with 50 MP, 50 MP, and 12 MP CMOS sensors at apertures of f/1.7, f/1.9, and f/2.2 respectively, covering a focal range of 15 mm to 46 mm with 2x optical zoom and built-in optical image stabilization. Video recording reaches up to 4K at 60 fps with HDR10 support, continuous autofocus during recording, and slow-motion capability, while Dolby Vision recording is not available. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus, though laser autofocus is absent, and manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, with burst mode and in-camera panorama also supported — but no manual shutter speed, RAW capture, or timelapse. A single LED flash is present on the rear with no dual-tone or RGB configuration, and the 32 MP front camera at f/2.2 is a single-lens, standard-placement shooter with no front flash, under-display positioning, or dedicated front-facing flash.

The Xiaomi 15T runs on Android 16, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, dynamic and manual theme customization, dark mode, and an extra dim mode for low-light comfort. Privacy tools include clipboard warnings, location controls, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking and Mail Privacy Protection are not available. The OS also offers on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, a child lock, app offloading, sharing intents, battery health monitoring, and device position tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and Quick Start and focus modes are likewise absent.

The Xiaomi 15T is equipped with a 5500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 67W fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when the charge runs low.

The Xiaomi 15T includes stereo speakers but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, none of the advanced Bluetooth codecs are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Xiaomi 15T supports 5G cellular connectivity alongside dual SIM capability, Wi-Fi 6E (with backward compatibility down to Wi-Fi 4), and Bluetooth 6, while download speeds reach up to 5170 Mbit/s. It features a USB Type-C port running USB 2.0, NFC, and no external memory slot or HDMI output. For positioning, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer is absent. Security and biometrics are handled by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and iris scanning are not available, and no stylus is included. The phone also integrates an infrared sensor, but does not support ANT+, DLNA, satellite SOS, crash detection, heart rate monitoring, or any form of motion or optical tracking, and there is no built-in projector.

The Xiaomi 15T includes a video light for illumination during video recording, while the display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
