Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G (Global)

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G has a conventional, non-folding form factor measuring 162.5 x 74.7 x 8.8 mm with a volume of 106.821 cm³ and a weight of 205 g. It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as fully waterproof, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The display is a 6.67″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 px and a pixel density of 446 ppi, backed by a 3000 nits typical brightness and a contrast ratio of 5000000:1. It operates at a 120 Hz refresh rate with a 480 Hz touch sampling rate, and the panel supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide format compatibility. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and includes an always-on display mode, while there is no secondary screen on the device.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 system-on-chip, fabricated on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at up to 2.5 GHz and a turbo clock of 2.4 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE technology and HMP for workload distribution across cores. Graphics are handled by the integrated Adreno 710 GPU clocked at 1050 MHz, with support for DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2, and 128 shading units. The chipset also integrates LTE, TrustZone security, and multithreading, while the TDP sits at 5W. On the memory side, the device ships with 12 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz with a maximum memory bandwidth of 25.6 GB/s and a maximum supported memory amount of 16 GB, paired with 512 GB of internal storage. Benchmark results include an AnTuTu score of 736,300, Geekbench 6 single-core and multi-core scores of 1,162 and 3,239 respectively, and Geekbench 5 scores of 893 single-core and 3,242 multi-core.

The rear camera system uses three lenses with resolutions of 200 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP and corresponding apertures of f/1.7, f/2.2, and f/2.4, built around a CMOS sensor measuring 15.6 x 11.7 mm with a pixel size of 1.12 µm. Optical image stabilization and 4x optical zoom are supported, and autofocus options include phase-detection and touch AF for photos as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. The main camera records video at up to 2160p at 30 fps with slow-motion capability, while HDR mode, manual exposure, manual ISO, manual focus, manual white balance, burst mode, timelapse, panorama, and 360° panorama shooting are all available; manual shutter speed, RAW capture, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, and 3D recording are not supported. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The 20 MP single-lens front camera has an aperture of f/2.2 and sits in a standard position without an under-display placement, and it does not include a front-facing flash.

The device runs Android 14 and includes a broad set of privacy controls, covering clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic theming, theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, and notification permission controls. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, Live Text, and the ability to play games while they are downloading, while app offloading, focus modes, Wi-Fi password sharing, and Quick Start are absent. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, device tracking, multi-user accounts, a child lock, and a battery health check, but it does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor and cannot be used as a PC.

The device houses a non-removable rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5110 mAh and supports wired fast charging at 120W, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. A battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode are both present for day-to-day battery management.

Audio output is handled by stereo speakers, and the device includes two microphones. For wireless audio, it supports both aptX and LDAC codecs, while aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not available. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack and no built-in radio.

The device supports 5G cellular connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with download speeds reaching up to 2900 Mbit/s. Wi-Fi coverage spans Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), while Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are also on board. The USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0, and there is no external memory slot or HDMI output. For location and sensing, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, infrared sensor, and a fingerprint scanner, but lacks a barometer, heart rate monitor, and does not support ANT+, motion tracking, or optical tracking. Security features do not extend to 3D facial recognition or an iris scanner, and there is no crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, DLNA certification, stylus, or built-in projector.

The device features a curved display and includes a video light, while it does not use sapphire glass or an e-paper display.
