The board uses the AM5 socket paired with the B850 chipset and comes in a Micro-ATX form factor measuring 244 mm × 244 mm, making it a compact option for AMD-based builds. It supports a single CPU and has no integrated processor or onboard graphics. Wireless connectivity is well covered, with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) alongside backward compatibility through Wi-Fi 6E, 6, 5, and 4, while Bluetooth 5.4 is also built in, though aptX is not supported. The board includes HDMI 2.1 output, supports easy overclocking, and features RGB lighting. Practical conveniences include a dual BIOS setup and a straightforward CMOS reset option, and the board is backed by a three-year warranty.
This board uses DDR5 memory across four slots in a dual-channel configuration, supporting a maximum installed capacity of 256 GB. Overclocked RAM speeds can reach up to 8000 MHz, giving enthusiasts room to push memory performance beyond standard rates. ECC memory is not supported.
The rear I/O offers a varied USB lineup, including three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, while USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 4, Thunderbolt 3, and Thunderbolt 4 ports are absent. Display output is handled by an HDMI port and one DisplayPort, with no DVI or VGA connectors present. Networking is covered by a single RJ45 port, and there are no eSATA or PS/2 ports on offer.
For internal expansion, the board provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers, two USB 3.0 headers, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 header, and three USB 2.0 headers. Storage connectivity includes three M.2 sockets and four SATA 3 connectors, while SATA 2, U.2, and mSATA are not available. Five fan headers are present for cooling management, and there is no TPM connector on the board.
The board offers one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot as the primary expansion option, along with one PCIe x1 slot for smaller add-in cards. There are no PCIe 4.0, 3.0, or 2.0 x16 slots, and no PCIe x4, x8, or legacy PCI slots are present.
The onboard audio supports a 7.1-channel layout and delivers a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB from the DAC, with three analog audio connectors available on the rear panel. An S/PDIF output port is not included.
The board supports RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 configurations, covering a broad range of storage setups from performance striping to mirroring and fault-tolerant arrays. RAID 0+1 is not supported.
