Oppo Watch S

The Oppo Watch S features a 1.46″ OLED touchscreen with a resolution of 464 x 464 px and a pixel density of 317 ppi, though it does not include an always-on display mode. The watch measures 45 x 45 mm with a slim thickness of 8.9 mm and weighs just 35 g, giving it a compact and lightweight form. Its IP68-rated waterproofing holds up to 1.5 m and meets a 5 ATM rating, making it suitable for water exposure during everyday activities. The band measures 22 mm in width and is fully replaceable, offering flexibility for customization. Neither sapphire glass nor branded damage-resistant glass is used on the display.

The Oppo Watch S is equipped with a broad set of sensors, including a heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter for blood oxygenation tracking, and a body temperature sensor for continuous health monitoring. Motion and orientation are covered by an accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass, while a barometer adds environmental awareness. Built-in GPS enables location tracking without relying on a paired device. A cadence sensor and perspiration monitor are not included.

The Oppo Watch S covers a wide range of activity tracking capabilities, including steps, distance, pace, elevation, and route tracking. It detects activities automatically and supports exercise tagging, making it straightforward to log varied workouts without manual input. Sleep tracking is also on board, with detailed sleep reports available through the companion app. For swimmers, a stroke counter adds useful in-water data, while calorie intake tracking rounds out the health monitoring picture. The watch is not designed for diving or golf-specific use.

The Oppo Watch S connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.2 and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. It also supports the Galileo satellite navigation system for improved location accuracy. The watch does not include a cellular module, Wi-Fi, NFC, or ANT+ support, keeping its wireless feature set focused on core connectivity essentials.

The Oppo Watch S is powered by a 339 mAh rechargeable battery with a rated life of 7 days on a single charge. The battery is neither removable nor solar-assisted, and the watch does not support wireless charging, meaning it relies on a wired connection to recharge.

The Oppo Watch S offers a thorough set of health and smart features, including ECG technology, HRV tracking, VO2 max measurement, resting heart rate monitoring, and irregular heart rate warnings, along with fast and slow heart rate notifications and a readiness recovery indicator. On the smart side, the watch delivers wrist notifications, call control, the ability to answer calls directly from the wrist, voice commands, a silent alarm, vibrating alerts, a stopwatch, a built-in camera remote, and fast GPS lock. It holds 4 GB of internal storage and carries a one-year warranty. Fall detection and smart alarm are not available, and the watch has no front camera and no built-in microphones, nor does it include a phone-finding function.

The companion app for the Oppo Watch S is free and ad-free, and requires an account to use. It covers a broad range of tracking and management tools, including activity reports, calorie burn counting, water intake, weight, temperature, and an exercise diary, along with goal setting, achievements, and inactivity alerts. Period notifications, calendar sync, music playback, widgets, and app personalisation are also supported. Route support, email export, coaching, and a barcode scanner are not available within the app.

The Oppo Watch S includes a battery level indicator and passcode protection for basic security. It also features a 3.5 mm audio jack socket, while an external memory slot is not available. The watch is not compatible with Windows or Mac OS X.
