Realme P4 Pro 5G

The Realme P4 Pro 5G has a standard, non-folding form factor measuring 162.3 mm tall, 76.2 mm wide, and 7.7 mm thick, with a total volume of approximately 95.23 cm³ and a weight of 189 g. It carries an IP66 ingress protection rating, meaning it is water resistant, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G features a 6.8-inch OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 2800 px and a pixel density of 453 ppi, delivering a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 and a typical brightness of 1800 nits. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and the Always-On Display function is available. The panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, but does not support Dolby Vision and there is no secondary screen. Dolby Vision is not supported.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 4 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at up to 2.8 GHz, utilizing big.LITTLE technology and multithreading support, with a TDP of 6W. It comes with 12 GB of DDR5 RAM at 4200 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, while the integrated GPU runs at 1000 MHz and supports DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2.0. The maximum memory bandwidth reaches 33.6 GB/s, and the platform also includes integrated LTE, ARM TrustZone security, and full 64-bit support.

The rear camera system is a dual-lens setup combining a 50 MP primary sensor at f/1.8 and a 2 MP lens at f/2.2, both using CMOS technology, with optical image stabilization and phase-detection autofocus for stills as well as continuous autofocus during video recording. Main camera video capability tops out at 4K resolution at 60 fps, and slow-motion recording is also supported, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode, touch autofocus, timelapse, and in-camera panoramas are all present; there is no optical zoom, no RAW capture, no manual shutter speed control, and no laser autofocus. A single LED flash is included on the rear — not dual-tone or RGB — and there is no front-facing flash. The front camera is a single-lens 50 MP shooter with an f/2.4 aperture, not placed under the display, and HDR mode is available on the main camera.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user accounts, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, sharing intents, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. Privacy options are fairly broad, covering clipboard warnings, location controls, and camera/microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are absent. Personalization features include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while notification permissions and customizable notifications give users fine-grained control over alerts. Additional capabilities include on-device machine learning, Live Text selection, full-page screenshots, offline voice recognition, voice commands, app offloading, a media picker, battery health check, child lock, and device tracking; however, focus modes, Quick Start, and PC mode are not available, and OS updates do not come directly from the platform vendor.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G is equipped with a 7000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 80W fast wired charging, with a charger included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, but wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not supported.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G features stereo speakers and supports both aptX and LDAC Bluetooth audio codecs, enabling higher-quality wireless audio playback. However, it does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the more advanced aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless codecs are not supported.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G supports 5G connectivity and accommodates two SIM cards, with Wi-Fi coverage spanning Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6 standards. Bluetooth 5.4 is on board alongside NFC, a fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port running at USB 2.0 speed; there is no external memory slot, no HDMI output, and no DLNA certification. For positioning, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, a gyroscope, and an accelerometer, though it lacks a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ support. Safety features such as satellite SOS and crash detection are absent, and there is no 3D facial recognition, iris scanner, stylus, or built-in projector.

The Realme P4 Pro 5G includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor e-paper technology.
