Vivo T4 Pro

The Vivo T4 Pro has a non-folding, non-rugged design measuring 163.5 mm tall, 77 mm wide, and 7.5 mm thick, with a total volume of 94.42 cm³ and a weight of 192 g. On the durability front, it carries an IP68 rating, classifying it as waterproof and confirming it can withstand submersion to a depth of 1.5 metres.

The Vivo T4 Pro features a 6.77″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi, paired with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth on-screen motion. The display is protected by branded damage-resistant glass and supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, though it does not offer Always-On Display functionality, Dolby Vision, or a secondary screen.

The Vivo T4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a 4 nm chipset with an octa-core CPU configuration running at up to 2.8 GHz, supported by big.LITTLE technology and multithreading. It comes with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 4200 MHz and a maximum memory bandwidth of 33.6 GB/s, alongside 256 GB of internal storage. The integrated GPU runs at 1000 MHz and supports DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, while the SoC also includes integrated LTE, TrustZone security, and 64-bit support, operating within a thermal design power envelope of 6W.

The Vivo T4 Pro sports a triple rear camera system built around two 50 MP sensors and a 2 MP sensor, with apertures of f/1.8, f/2.7, and f/2.4 respectively, covering a focal range of 26 mm to 73 mm and offering 3x optical zoom. The main camera uses a CMOS sensor with phase-detection autofocus, continuous autofocus during video, touch autofocus, and optical image stabilisation, but does not include a BSI sensor or laser autofocus. Video recording reaches 4K at 30 fps, with slow-motion and timelapse modes available, though HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while burst mode and in-camera panorama are also on hand; raw shooting and manual shutter speed are absent. A single LED flash is present on the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash, and the 32 MP front camera at f/2.5 is a single-lens unit without a front flash or under-display placement.

The Vivo T4 Pro runs Android 15 as a free and open-source operating system, bringing a broad set of privacy controls that include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access management, and app tracking blocking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. On the customisation side, the software supports dynamic theming, theme customisation, dark mode, an extra dim mode, customisable notifications, widgets, and a media picker, while focus modes and Wi-Fi password sharing are unavailable. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they are still downloading. The OS also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, multi-user accounts, a child lock, phone tracking, and a battery health check, though it does not offer direct OS vendor updates, Quick Start, or the ability to function as a PC.

The Vivo T4 Pro houses a 6500 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery with a battery level indicator included. It supports 90W wired fast charging and comes with a charger in the box, though wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are not available.

The Vivo T4 Pro includes stereo speakers but omits a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a built-in radio. On the wireless audio side, it does not support any high-resolution or enhanced Bluetooth codecs, including aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, or LDAC.

The Vivo T4 Pro supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6, and accommodates two SIM cards with no external memory slot. Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are both present, while the USB Type-C port operates at USB 2.0 speed, and there is no HDMI output or DLNA certification. For biometrics, a fingerprint scanner is included, though 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are absent, and no stylus is bundled. The sensor suite covers GPS with Galileo support, a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and infrared sensor, but the device lacks a barometer, heart rate monitor, and motion or optical tracking. Crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, and ANT+ support are also not available.

The Vivo T4 Pro includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
