It holds an IP65 ingress protection rating, meaning it is certified as water resistant, though it does not feature a rugged build.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G features a 6.77″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi, delivering a sharp visual experience. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches a typical brightness of 1300 nits, with Always-On Display support included. The screen does not carry branded damage-resistant glass, and it lacks support for HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. There is no secondary screen on this device.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU running at 2 x 2.4 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz, supported by 8 threads, big.LITTLE technology, and Heterogeneous Multi-Processing. It is paired with 12 GB of DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz and 512 GB of internal storage, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 17.07 GB/s. The Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU operates at 950 MHz, supports DirectX 12, and handles graphics through an integrated solution. Cache memory consists of 512 KB L1, 1 MB L2, and 2 MB L3. The chipset supports 64-bit processing, multithreading, and has integrated LTE. In Geekbench 6, the device scores 782 in the single-core test and 2012 in the multi-core test.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G features a dual-lens rear camera system with 50 MP and 8 MP sensors at apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.8 respectively, capable of recording video at 1080p and 30 fps. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is not available. Manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while optical zoom is absent and there is no optical image stabilization. The rear setup supports HDR, burst mode, slow-motion video, panorama, and timelapse, but does not shoot in RAW format, nor does it offer manual shutter speed, 360° panorama, HDR10 recording, Dolby Vision recording, or 3D capture. A single LED flash is present at the rear, with no dual-tone or RGB flash. The 32 MP front camera sits at an aperture of f/2.5 and is a single-lens unit without an under-display placement or a front-facing flash.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it offers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not present. Customization options include theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes are not available. The device supports split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, widgets, full-page screenshots, Live Text, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, and the ability to play games while they download. It also features offline voice recognition, voice commands, on-device machine learning, a child lock, multi-user support, app offloading, battery health check, and phone tracking. Direct OS updates from the vendor are not supported, and Quick Start and Wi-Fi password sharing are also absent. The operating system is free and open source.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G is equipped with a 6500 mAh rechargeable battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, and a charger is included in the box. A battery level indicator is present, making it easy to monitor charge at a glance. The battery is not removable, and wireless charging is not supported.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G includes stereo speakers for audio output, but does not feature a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G supports 5G connectivity alongside Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC, with a maximum download speed of 3300 MBits/s. The device features a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, but does not offer 3D facial recognition or an iris scanner. ANT+, DLNA certification, crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, motion tracking, optical tracking, and a built-in projector are all unsupported, and no stylus is included.

The Vivo V50 Lite 5G includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions. The display is flat rather than curved, and the device does not feature sapphire glass protection or an e-paper display.
