Infinix Note 50 4G

It carries an IP64 rating, meaning it offers protection against dust and water splashes, making it water resistant in everyday conditions.

The Infinix Note 50 4G features a 6.78″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2436 px and a pixel density of 393 ppi, delivering a sharp and vibrant visual experience. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and includes an Always-On Display, while there is no secondary screen. The panel does not feature branded damage-resistant glass, and HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are not supported.

The Infinix Note 50 4G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 system-on-chip, built on a 6 nm process with an octa-core CPU configuration running at 2 x 2.2 GHz and 6 x 2 GHz across 8 threads, utilizing big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). It comes with 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM at 4266 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with a maximum supported memory amount of 12 GB and a peak memory bandwidth of 17.1 GB/s. Graphics are handled by the integrated Mali G57 GPU clocked at 1000 MHz, supporting DirectX 11, OpenGL ES 3.2, and OpenCL 2, alongside integrated LTE on the SoC. The chipset also includes TrustZone security, 64-bit support, and operates within a thermal design power of 5W, with an AnTuTu benchmark score of 432,052.

The Infinix Note 50 4G features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP sensor at f/2.2 and an 8 MP sensor at f/1.9, both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. It supports optical image stabilization, phase-detection autofocus, touch autofocus, and continuous autofocus during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. Video can be captured at up to 1440 x 30 fps, with slow-motion recording also available, but HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Manual controls include exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, while manual shutter speed and RAW shooting are not available; additional shooting modes cover HDR, burst, panorama, and timelapse. Two LED flash units are present on the rear, though they do not form a dual-tone or RGB configuration. On the front, a single 13 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture handles selfies — it has no LED flash, is not placed under the display, and operates as a single-lens setup. Optical zoom is not available, and 360-degree panorama as well as 3D photo or video capture are also absent.

The Infinix Note 50 4G runs Android 15 and offers a broad set of software features covering both usability and privacy. On the privacy side, it includes clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The interface supports theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, and an extra dim mode, while productivity is aided by split-screen multitasking, picture-in-picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, customizable notifications, sharing intents, widgets, and the ability to play games while they download. It also supports on-device machine learning, Live Text, offline voice recognition, voice commands, phone tracking, multi-user accounts, app offloading, and a child lock. Battery health check is included as well. Wi-Fi password sharing, focus modes, Quick Start, and the ability to function as a PC are not supported, and the device does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Infinix Note 50 4G is equipped with a 5200 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports both wired and wireless charging. Wired fast charging tops out at 45W, while wireless charging is available at up to 30W, and reverse wireless charging is also supported for powering other devices. A charger is included in the box, and a battery level indicator is present to keep track of remaining charge.

The Infinix Note 50 4G includes stereo speakers and a built-in radio, but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack. For wireless audio, none of the high-quality Bluetooth codec standards are supported — aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC are all absent.

The Infinix Note 50 4G supports Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) and Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS with Galileo, along with a cellular module, though 5G is not available. It accommodates two SIM cards and connects via USB Type-C with USB 2.0, while HDMI output is not present. Download speeds reach up to 650 Mbit/s and upload up to 150 Mbit/s. For security and authentication, a fingerprint scanner is included, but 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are not supported, nor is a stylus included. Onboard sensors cover a gyroscope, accelerometer, and compass, while a barometer, heart rate monitor, infrared sensor, and motion or optical tracking are all absent. Crash detection, emergency SOS via satellite, ANT+, DLNA certification, and a built-in projector are likewise not featured.

The Infinix Note 50 4G includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
