It carries an IP68 ingress protection rating, classifying it as waterproof against dust and water under defined conditions.

The Galaxy S25 Edge features a 6.7″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1440 x 3120 px resolution and a pixel density of 513 ppi, delivering a sharp and detailed image across its single display — there is no secondary screen. The panel runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+, includes an Always-On Display mode, and does not support Dolby Vision.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-chip, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz, a TDP of 8.2W, and integrated LTE. The SoC employs big.LITTLE architecture with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), multithreading, and ARM TrustZone security, while the Adreno 830 GPU runs at 1100 MHz, supports DirectX 12, OpenGL 3.2, OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 3, and drives up to 2 displays with 1536 shading units. The device ships with 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 5300 MHz across 2 memory channels, with a maximum memory bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s, ECC memory support, a maximum memory capacity of 24GB, and a cache hierarchy of 192 KB L1, 12 MB L2, and 8 MB L3. In benchmarks, it scores 3,234 in Geekbench 6 single-core, 10,059 in Geekbench 6 multi-core, and 2,265,529 in AnTuTu.

The Galaxy S25 Edge features a dual-lens rear camera system with sensors at 200 MP and 12 MP, paired with apertures of f/2.2 and f/1.7 respectively, a CMOS sensor, optical image stabilization, and a single LED flash — though no dual-tone, RGB, or laser autofocus is present. Autofocus options include phase-detection and touch autofocus for photos, as well as continuous autofocus during video recording, while manual controls cover exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, with RAW shooting also supported; manual shutter speed, however, is not available. The main camera records video at up to 4320 x 30 fps with slow-motion support, but does not support HDR10 or Dolby Vision recording, nor 3D or 360-degree capture, and there is no optical zoom. Additional shooting modes include burst, panorama, and timelapse. On the front, a single-lens 12 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture sits in a standard position — not under the display — and comes without a front-facing flash.

The Galaxy S25 Edge runs Android 15 and includes a broad set of privacy controls covering location access, camera and microphone permissions, clipboard warnings, and app tracking blocking, though cross-site tracking blocking, Mail Privacy Protection, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not available. On the customization side, it supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, widgets, customizable notifications, and an extra dim mode, while focus modes and Quick Start are absent. Productivity and usability features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, the ability to function as a PC, app offloading, and the option to play games while they download. The device also supports on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, Live Text selection from images, a child lock, multi-user accounts, device tracking, and battery health monitoring, but does not receive direct OS updates from the vendor.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is equipped with a non-removable 3900 mAh rechargeable battery with a visible battery level indicator. It supports 25W wired fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging, though reverse wireless charging is not available and no charger is included in the box.

The Galaxy S25 Edge includes stereo speakers and a dual-microphone setup, but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it supports both aptX and LDAC codecs, while aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless are not available.

The Galaxy S25 Edge supports 5G and offers broad wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E, and Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), alongside Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and ANT+, with download speeds reaching 10,000 Mbits/s and upload speeds up to 3,500 Mbits/s. It accommodates two physical SIM cards and two eSIMs, uses a USB Type-C 3.2 port, and includes a fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, though 3D facial recognition, iris scanning, and a stylus are not included. Sensors on board include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, barometer, and GPS with Galileo support, while motion tracking, optical tracking, an infrared sensor, a heart rate monitor, and a built-in projector are absent. There is no external memory slot, no HDMI output, no DLNA certification, and no emergency SOS via satellite.

The Galaxy S25 Edge includes a video light for recording in low-light conditions, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
