The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a 6.73″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a 1440 x 3200 px resolution and a pixel density of 522 ppi, delivering a peak brightness of 3200 nits and a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for wide content compatibility. Always-On Display is available, while there is no secondary screen and no branded damage-resistant glass.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, built on a 3 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configured at 2 x 4.32 GHz and 6 x 3.53 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technologies, alongside an Adreno 830 GPU clocked at 1100 MHz with 1536 shading units and support for up to 2 displays. It comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5300 MHz, a maximum supported memory of 24GB, and 1024GB of internal storage, with a memory bandwidth of 85.1 GB/s across 2 channels and ECC memory support. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra runs Android 15, a free and open-source platform that supports multi-user access, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Privacy features include clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not available. The interface offers theme customization, dynamic theming, dark mode, extra dim mode, focus modes, customizable notifications, notification permission controls, widgets, a media picker, Live Text, full-page screenshots, split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, sharing intents, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. Battery health check and child lock are also present, while Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and PC mode are not supported, and OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with a 6000 mAh non-removable rechargeable battery rated for 19 hours of battery life, with a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode available. It supports 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, with a charger included in the box, as well as 10W reverse wireless charging for powering other devices.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra includes stereo speakers and a 4-microphone array, but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio. For wireless audio, it offers a comprehensive codec lineup covering aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC, catering to a wide range of high-quality and lossless Bluetooth audio use cases.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra supports 5G cellular connectivity with download speeds of up to 10,000 Mbit/s and upload speeds of up to 3,500 Mbit/s, alongside dual SIM capability and Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E, and 7 support. Wired connectivity is handled by a USB Type-C 3.2 port, while Bluetooth 6, NFC, GPS, Galileo, and an infrared sensor round out the wireless feature set — though there is no HDMI output, no external memory slot, and no DLNA certification. On-board sensors include a gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, and barometer, and the device features a fingerprint scanner and emergency SOS via satellite, but does not offer 3D facial recognition, an iris scanner, ANT+ support, a heart rate monitor, crash detection, motion tracking, optical tracking, or a built-in projector. Head SAR is rated at 0.997 W/kg (US), and no stylus is included.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra includes a video light for use during video recording, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
