The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro features a 1.82″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 408 x 480 px and a pixel density of 347 ppi, and it supports an always-on display mode backed by sapphire glass for added surface durability — though it does not use branded damage-resistant glass. The case measures 44.5 mm in height, 40 mm in width, and 9.3 mm in thickness, with a total weight of just 30.4 g and a volume of 16.554 cm³, making for a compact and light build. Water resistance is rated at IP68 and 5 ATM, with a waterproof depth of 50 m, and the watch is operable in temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 45 °C, as well as at altitudes of up to 164 feet. The 20 mm watch band is replaceable, offering flexibility in styling and fit.

The watch includes a broad set of onboard sensors to support both health monitoring and physical activity tracking. A heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter, and body temperature sensor handle continuous physiological measurements, while an accelerometer, gyroscope, and cadence sensor work together to capture movement and motion data with greater precision. A built-in GPS enables location tracking without relying on a paired phone, and a compass and barometer add further situational awareness for outdoor use. Perspiration monitoring is not supported.

The Huawei Watch Fit 4 Pro covers an extensive range of activity tracking functions, logging steps, distance, pace, and elevation across a wide variety of contexts. Multi-sport mode is supported alongside automatic activity detection, so workouts can be recorded without manual input, and exercise tagging allows sessions to be labeled for easier review. Route tracking is built in for outdoor activities, and the watch is specifically designed for both diving and golf, with a swim stroke counter adding further detail for water-based sessions. On the wellness side, it tracks sleep with dedicated reports, monitors calorie intake from food, and records calories burned during activity, giving a fairly complete picture of daily health habits.

The watch connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.2 and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. NFC is included, and Galileo satellite support extends the accuracy of its location capabilities. It does not have a cellular module, so an independent data connection without a paired phone is not available, and Wi-Fi and ANT+ are not supported either.

The watch is powered by a 400 mAh rechargeable battery with a rated life of 10 days under typical use, stretching to 240 hours in power-saving mode. Charging is handled wirelessly, and a full charge takes just 0.75 hours, making top-ups relatively quick. The battery is not removable, and there is no solar charging capability.

On the health monitoring side, the watch offers ECG technology, HRV tracking, VO2 max measurement, resting heart rate tracking, and a readiness and recovery indicator, complemented by fast/slow heart rate notifications and irregular heart rate warnings for ongoing cardiac awareness. For day-to-day use, it supports wrist notifications, call control, and the ability to answer calls directly from the wrist using its single built-in microphone, along with a phone-finder function and a camera remote shutter control. A silent alarm, vibrating alerts, and a stopwatch are also included, while 4 GB of internal storage is available for local data. Smart alarm, fall detection, voice commands, and a front camera are not supported. The watch carries a one-year warranty.

The companion app is free to use and ad-free, with a high degree of personalisation supported through widgets, goal setting, and an achievements system. It provides activity reports, an exercise diary, calorie burn tracking, inactivity alerts, voice feedback during workouts, coaching, and music playback, along with live tracking and route support with maps for outdoor sessions. Health tracking spans a wide range of metrics, including temperature, water intake, weight, BMI, and calories, while women's health features cover period notifications, fertile window alerts, ovulation prediction, and cycle start date prediction. A barcode scanner is not available within the app.

The watch includes a battery level indicator, auto pause for workout tracking, and passcode protection for security. It is compatible with both smart scales and external heart rate monitors, extending its ability to integrate with additional fitness hardware. Desktop compatibility is limited, as it does not support Windows or Mac OS X. There is no external memory slot and no 3.5 mm audio jack.
