The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 1400 nits alongside a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision for broad HDR compatibility, and includes an Always-On Display mode. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and there is no secondary screen present.

The Poco X7 Pro is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 chipset, fabricated on a 4 nm process with an 8-thread CPU configuration running at speeds of 1 x 3.25, 3 x 3, and 4 x 2.15 GHz using big.LITTLE and HMP technologies. It is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 4267 MHz across 4 memory channels, a maximum supported memory amount of 24 GB, and 512 GB of internal storage. The Poco X7 Pro features a dual-lens rear camera system combining a 50 MP main sensor (f/2.2, 1.12 µm pixels) and an 8 MP secondary lens (f/1.5, 0.8 µm pixels), both using CMOS technology without a back-illuminated sensor. The Poco X7 Pro runs Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multi-user operation, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, and voice commands. Privacy tooling covers clipboard warnings, location privacy options, camera and microphone access controls, and the ability to block app tracking, though Mail Privacy Protection, cross-site tracking blocking, and Wi-Fi password sharing are not present. The interface supports dark mode, dynamic and manual theme customization, widgets, extra dim mode, customizable notifications with permission controls, and a media picker, while focus modes and Quick Start are not available. Productivity features include split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page scrolling screenshots, Live Text, sharing intents, app offloading, the ability to play games while they are downloading, and a child lock. OS updates are not delivered directly from the vendor, and the device cannot function as a PC, but phone tracking and battery health monitoring are both supported.

The Poco X7 Pro houses a 6000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, with a charger included in the box. Wireless charging is not available. The device features a battery level indicator and an ultra power-saving mode for extending usage when charge is critically low.

The Poco X7 Pro includes stereo speakers and a dual-microphone setup, but does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack or a built-in radio.
