CMF Phone 2 Pro

The CMF Phone 2 Pro has a non-folding, non-rugged form factor measuring 164 mm tall, 78 mm wide, and just 7.8 mm thick, with a total volume of 99.7776 cm³ and a weight of 185 g. It carries an IP54 ingress protection rating, confirming resistance to dust contact and water splashing from any direction, making it water resistant in everyday situations without qualifying as a fully rugged device.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro features a 6.77″ OLED/AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 2392 px and a pixel density of 388 ppi, delivering a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio typical of this panel technology. The display runs at a 120Hz refresh rate backed by a 1000Hz touch sampling rate, and reaches a typical brightness of 800 nits. It supports both HDR10 and HDR10+ for compatible content, includes an Always-On Display mode, and is protected by branded damage-resistant glass. Dolby Vision and a secondary screen are not part of the specification.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, a 4 nm SoC with 6,200 million transistors, eight 64-bit CPU threads arranged in a big.LITTLE configuration running at 4 x 2.5 GHz and 4 x 2 GHz, and integrated LTE. Graphics are handled by the Mali G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1047 MHz with DirectX 12 support, driving a single display. The chip is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 6400 MHz and 256 GB of internal storage, with the platform supporting up to 16 GB of memory. Benchmark results place the AnTuTu score at 711,907, while Geekbench 6 returns 1,007 single-core and 2,874 multi-core, and Geekbench 5 records 1,179 single-core and 8,046 multi-core. The SoC also employs Heterogeneous Multi-Processing for efficient workload distribution across its cores.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro carries a triple-lens rear camera system with sensors at 50 MP (f/1.9), 50 MP (f/1.9), and 8 MP (f/2.2), covering a focal range from 15 mm to 50 mm and offering 2x optical zoom. The setup uses a CMOS sensor without back-side illumination, and autofocus is handled through phase-detection and touch autofocus, with continuous autofocus active during video recording, though laser autofocus is absent. Video capture reaches up to 2160p at 30 fps, with slow-motion and timelapse modes also available, while HDR10 and Dolby Vision recording are not supported. Manual controls extend to exposure, ISO, focus, and white balance, but manual shutter speed and RAW output are not included; burst mode and in-camera panorama round out the still photography options. A single LED flash is fitted at the rear — not dual-tone or RGB — and the front camera offers 16 MP at f/2.0 with optical image stabilization on the main system, though the front shooter has no flash, no secondary lens, and is not positioned under the display.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro ships with Android 15, an open-source platform that supports multiple user accounts, on-device machine learning, offline voice recognition, voice commands, and device position tracking. Privacy tooling covers clipboard warnings, location controls, and camera and microphone access management, though Mail Privacy Protection and cross-site tracking blocking are not included; app tracking can be blocked independently. On the customization side, the OS offers dynamic theming, theme customization, dark mode, an extra dim mode, and home screen widgets, while focus modes are absent. Productivity features span split-screen multitasking, Picture-in-Picture, full-page screenshots, a media picker, sharing intents, customizable notifications, Live Text selection from images, app offloading, and the ability to play games while they download. A child lock, battery health check, and multi-user support are also present, whereas Wi-Fi password sharing, Quick Start, and the option to use the device as a PC are not available. OS updates do not arrive directly from the platform vendor.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is equipped with a 5000 mAh rechargeable, non-removable battery that supports 33W fast charging, and a battery level indicator is present to keep tabs on remaining capacity. Wireless charging is not supported, and a charger is not included in the box.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro includes a dual-microphone setup but omits several audio features found on other devices: there is no 3.5 mm headphone jack, no stereo speakers, and no built-in radio. Bluetooth audio codec support is similarly limited, with aptX, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, and LDAC all absent from the specification.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro supports 5G connectivity alongside a cellular module, dual SIM capability, and Wi-Fi across three standards — Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) — with peak download and upload speeds reaching 3270 Mbits/s. Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and USB Type-C are all present, and an external memory slot provides storage expansion. For positioning, the device includes GPS with Galileo support, a compass, gyroscope, and accelerometer, though a barometer, infrared sensor, heart rate monitor, and ANT+ are not part of the specification. Biometric security is covered by a fingerprint scanner, while 3D facial recognition and an iris scanner are absent; there is no stylus included, and features such as HDMI output, a built-in projector, crash detection, satellite SOS, DLNA certification, and motion or optical tracking are likewise not supported.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro includes a video light for illumination during video capture, while its display is flat rather than curved and uses neither sapphire glass nor an e-paper panel.
